At a small charity in the big town next to the small town I live in. I was volunteering there but now I am being paid (well for as long as there are funds to do so, not sure how long it will last). This is my 4th month of employment, and I know I definitely have until the start of May. I've been there 3 years in total this August which is marginally horrifying lol as it's not exactly the job I'd really like to have and I often worry I am wasting my life staying there. But hey it's a job and it's a start, so I'll just keep plodding on for now and hoping I'll find something better eventually. And that was a really long winded answer to a simple question Also thanks Strawb

That's great to hear Sigh Do you feel it's helped you with your shyness/anxiety over the last few years you've been there?

That's great to hear Sigh Do you feel it's helped you with your shyness/anxiety over the last few years you've been there? Yes and no, I've been in situations that have forced me to interact with strangers there, as well as getting to know regular staff/members as well... which has been tough but I've managed to cope with it. However I have to do a lot of paperwork outside of the hours I actually work, and a lot of it I have to do at home and that aspect causes me massive amounts of stress sadly.

I thought Knox's avatar thingy was supposed to be Walter White. Then I realized it's also what Knox looks like. You badass.

I enjoy being a choir singer because I am not the centre of attention during our performance.

I enjoy being a choir singer because I am not the centre of attention during our performance. I don't think I could even be part of a choir, so well done! Also welcome to SU!

I'd quite like to be a mod on another much busier forum if they would have me. Hav'nt asked yet though. Being a mod is a very satisfying job. I'm a librarian too and this is a lot like being a mod. I watch over library patrons and make sure they all get along and don't access porn or bomb making sites. I have now applied to be a mod on both the main forums I use, will it ever happen... Congrats Sigh, and lussyen for being part of a choir!

I've never wanted to be a mod, I was a mod before and it honestly just feels like a job, I like to pop onto forums as I please, not be tied down to be there at a constant time.
