Great video Slinky! What a small world - I went on study abroad (the first time I was in college) right in your part of England.

Videos are awesome...more people should definitely do them!
Slinky...out of curiosity...have you ever thought of doing a Tough Mudder, or something similar?

I have yes, though to be honest the team element of Tough Mudders has put me off in the past. I love the solitary nature of running, the time to think clearly and test oneself. I've thought of entering events beyond the marathon distance, but have yet to actually do one. I just haven't had the time to dedicate to training like I'd want to (no half measures), to achieve something as brutal as an ultra distance event. Assault courses appeal to me though. I just have a feeling I'd get too frustrated with other people for a Tough Mudder to be enjoyable! Or being crap myself and letting other people down. I find some sense of personal achievement in the sadistic side of solo distance running. The loneliness of the long distance runner and all that :S

For some reason, I didn't realize the Tough Mudder was completely team based. I had just vaguely heard about it. Ever since I've heard of it though, I've thought a mud run/obstacle course would be kind of neat to enter. Though, definitely probably more fun to enter with at least one other person.

I agree. I've been meaning to do a video, but I got no idea on what.

I think I removed most of the ones I did. I may have gotten a little paranoid about my face being 'out there' for an extended period of time and retired them!
Plus this thread just sort of went into hibernation, much like the rest of the site :S

What are those on the top right corner of the particular video? board games? Yes, they are! Random games such as Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Tsuro but there were 2 box set of Horrible History and Horrible Science books as well. How are you?

I've never played Dungeons & Dragons, either, but it's something I'm interested in trying. Besides, what kind of nerd would I be without playing DnD at least once?
