Hi, guys, my name is Tiger and I am 22 and pretty shy. I'm just back from 2 glorious weeks in the Canaries. I had the best time! I went with a few friends. On the 2nd night I met a lovely boy who lives about 10 miles away from my home who was away with his mates. We got on like a house on fire. We had lovely days sitting watching the sun go down. And we had a kiss or two. We swapped phone numbers at the end of the two weeks and he is going to call me on Monday. What I am trying to say is that holiday romances are perfect. Has anybody else out there had one?

I've just come back from Gran Canaria too, it was great. I've never had a holiday romance although I guess it would be romantic and even better if you had your holiday to spend with someone you like, on the other hand I suppose it would be heartbreaking to come home. I was gutted coming home alone, never mind coming home from a romance. Its not too bad that he only lives 10 miles away though, it gives you a better chance of the relationship working as its not a great distance. Not being together 24/7 is also quite a good thing, because you enjoy the time you spend together more when you see each other. As long as the gap between seeing each other isn't too great, I imagine it will go well for you.
