* People where the average car on the road is less than five years old and there are high-end developments going up by the week, but they swear the economy and job markets are "bad" * Dysfunctional families A.K.A. "criminal factories". If you don't want them don't have them.. But high even developments will always occur, granted not to the same extent, it still doesn't mean the economy is good relative to what it was previously because if you're posting from the west well it has been getting worse. That second comment I found funny. I live in the poorest part of America outside of a few northern states.. Like every 10th car on any given road is some jacked up $50,000 truck or newer tuner car, luxury car, or newer economy car, any city I go to. They all live in newer developments or new-build houses on land. My region of the US is considered ghetto, but all the trailer parks and low-rent apartments pretty much got built over 10 years ago.. You have to actually look hard to find low-income neighborhoods and it's usually only where there are plants where they work and only in small-numbers.. Every time I go to a store I hear people talking about the job markets and economy, they all have jobs and own homes or high-requirement apartments, and walk out to new cars.. It's retarded.. There is a difference between wanting more and struggling.. * People who associate introvert with shy.. I came home from the club three hours early OMG I'm shy.. Have you ever even seen what is considered "introvert" by society? Absolutely no shy person I've ever came across resembles that.. I use them interchangeably. If I tell someone I'm shy, the usual response is, "So? Get over it." Or something equally as insincere. If I tell them I'm an introvert, they'll want to know more. "Well, when I go to the shops, I can barely breathe..." "Ah, so it's more like a serious medical condition?" "Yes, now do you understand, you insensitive fool?" I get further in life using introvert, I've found... Yeah I can see why you'd do it. It's just most people I see on the net who claim to be introvert have extremely social lives.. I see it like the people who put on thick frame glasses and become engineers and "geeks".. I've never even been able to pull off pretending to be outgoing, other than the financial and logistical problems that results in I don't have a problem with it though..

I turn 25 in a week, I think our birthdays are extremely close. Ah, you are older than me. 25 in July. Fair enough. Enjoy your 25th and your liquor cake... Thanks, now fetch me my liquor cake and slippers boy. I live in the poorest part of America outside of a few northern states.. Well, I live in an area which isn't great but the city I live 20 minutes outside of has had a huge increased in homeless people in recent years, I've noticed the increase in homeless people myself. Also unemployment has increased massively in the few years since the recession began, particularly in my country, so I think there are proper markers of economic decline.

Nope, got my dates wrong. End of April they go.
Come to think of it, I don't know why they're not going for St. Patricks. Not that I knew it was coming until you mentioned it...
Surprised you've never taken part in it, actually.
Would've thought it was mandatory. You know, like National Service in the olden days...

Work woes. My "supervisor." Not really much point in one if they can't advise...or help...or lead. My job's been driving me crazy the past few weeks...and next few weeks to come, no doubt...may lead me to a long ranty post, if I find the time. grrrrrrrrrrrrr Then again, I am grateful for any sort of income. *sigh*

The heatwave currently affecting a good chunk of Europe. It's times like these I really wish I had air conditioning both in my bedroom and in my car. As it stands it's really hard to bear at times going so far as to make it hard to sleep at night.

More and more I'm convinced there is one thing more than anything else that makes a person likeable and attractive.
Smiling. And doing so genuinely (or looking like it).
I don't do it much. I don't believe I can force myself to even if I tried. If I do, it just looks wrong (if it's forced, I mean). When I do smile for real, it just looks OK. Almost everyone else's smile is gorgeous.
Oh well. That's what I randomly hate today.

The bloody weather in this country, would rather be somewhere where it's pretty much always hot in summer.

..that I have no idea how to boost this forum back up to its former glories. I don't even know what I could post shyness-wise, nevermind all the randomness I come out with :S

..that I have no idea how to boost this forum back up to its former glories. I wonder if part of the reason for the slow-down is that this place has been around for so long, and almost every topic has been brought up. Most of the things I'd want to talk about has a thread started on it somewhere, so it almost feels like old news. So much has been processed on this board over the years (especially the early years). I hope that isn't a common sentiment, though. It would be good to re-introduce some "old" topics and I would like others to feel free to do so.

There could be new members that have never seen the topic, or don't feel like searching for them. Also it gives people the chance to update on any possible changes since the topic last came up.
