Once I saw one that I kind of liked....I think it was called Tank Police. I liked the two girls with tails and tiger ears and how the tanks just tore up the pavement and laid waste to the city in general.
Also I used to watch dragonball z a few years ago. Now in retrospect that show was really boring. They would spend like 25 episodes building up to a fight, 45 episodes yelling at each other getting ready to fight, 127 episodes for the actual fight. So after 20 seasons one fight is accomplished.

I never really got into anime all that much. I saw some DBZ and I agree that the storylines are way too drawn out. They could easily tel l those stories in like 10 episodes. But they take 100 instead. Build up is fine, but too much build up is boring and makes people lose interest in the actual conflict when it takes too long to build up.
I saw Akira a few months ago and thought it was great. Probably the best looking anime I have seen and it had an interesting plot.
I'm into American cartoons and comics though. I'm a big superhero nerd. My all time favorite cartoon is Batman: The Animated Series. Well drawn with great voice acting and good plots. It is a cartoon that I'd say is geared for all ages. Kids like the action but when you're older you appreciate the stories more. The Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, and Clayface episodes are my favorites.

I'm not a fan of anime at all. Quite honestly, I can't stand it. It's just not my thing. I like Looney Tunes, Garfield, Peanuts, and stuff like that. But everyone has their own opinion.
