how can anyone manage to turn jedi's into the most boring people on earth? Not to mention get some of the worst/wooden acting out of so many good actors, not including Hayden ChristI'veTurnedOneOfTheGreatestCharactersOfAllTimeIntoAPlankOfWoodianson Not mentioning the fact Annakin Skywalker was a virgin birth??!! Oh please.... *struggles to hold back the vomit* Don't critisize what you don't understand brother, you never walked in that man's shoes.

i saw it and thought it was really good, and it was the first star wars movie i've ever seen so a little confusing lol. my favorite guy was the general-skeleton looking guy, he was so bad ass, it sucked that he died.

George Lucas or Hayden Christianson? Either way are you saying that it's ok to judge a film which you pay to go and see as long as your judgement is positive but not if it's negative? Art is subjective. Are you saying you have never seen a film, read a book, watched a play that you haven't liked? That is of course excluding the fact it may of shat all over your childhood.

i was referring to both Lucas and Hayden. Art sure is subjective. I just feel that ur critisizing this work and dwelling on that won't help you see that art for what it is. I mean wooden acting.. where? And the whole thing of how Anakin was born.. lol heck you know what. it's like saying ship's can't fly like they do in the movies. at the end of the day it's all fiction. it's all art.

Well I was being critical because I was explaining why I wasn't too excited to go and see it. It was a personal thing. Like saying I don't like beetroot. I'm not critising anyone for liking it. Apologies if I was on a downer about it but a film is made to be seen and judged. That's it's whole purpose. Apart from making money of course. If others like it, cool.
I wasn't saying Lucas and Christianson are evil or bad people. Just not a very good director or actor in my opinion. At least in what I've seen. You know it's not illegal or immoral to not like things.
If you liked the acting, the characters, story, direction etc good for you. If you didn't find Anakin Skywalker likened to Jesus Christ stomach churning then again good for you. I'm genuinely glad you enjoyed it. Just a shame for me of waiting almost my entire life for these films I didn't.
I appreciate sometimes when I post I kind of chuck stuff out so I'm sorry if I offended you some how. I get passionate about stuff and I'm tired of always watering my self and my opinions down just to avoid rocking the boat.
One of the great things about art is discussing or even arguing about it with people. Which means having different opinions.

I haven't seen the new movie yet, but i love Star Wars!! The only character i don't like is Han Solo. A great sci fi movie doesn't need an annoying pretty boy acting real brash and arrogant. But i will admit that Han probably did help to make Star Wars popular in the first place. If a movie is rated badly, i've learned that it's a movie that i'd probably like. Battlefield Earth is an excellent example of this.

Ah I never used to like Han Solo either. I always wanted Luke to get the girl, he did save the galaxy after all. That was before I grasped the concept of incest of course. Well actually I wanted me to get the girl lol. I think Princess Leia was my first crush. I remember wanting to marry her when I grew up I have to say now I really appreciate Han Solo. I love the characters in the origional trilogy. They do literally have character and ummm dynamic (ick I hate that word). It's weird cos Harrison Ford seems so dull off screen but so charasmatic on screen. Samuel L Jackson on the other hand is probably one of the naturally most coolest people on earth but in Star Wars....*sigh* I haven't seen Battlefield Earth....do you like Gigli too? ;D Somtimes things can be so bad they are good.

Which means having different opinions. man i was a little out of line too you know.. it's just art after all. and yes people have difrent opinions about art.. sort of like stamps "hey Joe what do you think about this stap?" "gee Marty i think it's a little 2 yellow" Joe: "well excuse me. yellow makes it more livley and .. well stlish if you will.." Marty: "stylish? oh no Marty u got it all wrong.." Joe: "..no no Joey.." Marty: "yellow shows more life and.." Joe: "reminds me of piss.." Marty: "whoa.. have you lost ur mind!?" Joe: "maybe u did!?" Marty: "i tell ya man there wasn't nobody pissin on my stamps!" Joe: "i didn't say that" Marty: "oh shit man. piss is orange" Joe: "no it ain't" Marty: "go back to ur mama she'll teach u colors again " "u talkin bout my mother!!?" ..... 4,5 hours later... *all the furniture is broken and the two men are bleeding" Marty: "you know what? it's just a stamp" Joe: "right. we finally agree" Marty: "it's all good" Joe: "yea it really is"

I'd like to see a Watcmen movie. If done right it would be a really good film. Plus it is a story that a wider audience should have access to.
