I've only just seen this! Sorry Farouche, hopefully I'll get around to detailing a bit more why I left. Then write a bit about why I decided to come back and what's going on with me. However.... I j'adore this thread. Just as I love all of you. Yes, in that way. In a big, fat sexy way. Welcome back Slinky! Why do people delete their accounts anyway?

Well...I never did get around to delving into why I left, why I came back, all that jazz. I should get onto that. Well, maybe more of what I've been up to. Think I deleted mine at the time to have some sort of finality to a stage in my life. I had to get a lot of things sorted in 'real life', and felt not having my account here would be a deterrent to spending too much time on the net. A lot more complicated than that really.
Anyway, back on point. Wherefor art thou Phil?
Could do with a new idol really, may spark another glut of insanely wonderful posts such as those found within this hallowed thread......

Hey, Slink. I have two words for you....David Bowie.

I just can't bring myself to worship at the altar of the Bowie. I know how much he means to you Crash but.....it'd just feel too much like cheating on my little drummer boy.
I mean, I know me and Phil have been estranged for quite a while, but I'm finding it hard to move on. Oh well, you know what they say, 'You Can't Hurry Love'. Oh no, you'll just have to wait.

Good to know I'm not the only one thinking of this thread.

That song in particular reminds me of American Psycho, if you've seen it then you know the scene I'm talking about.

That song in particular reminds me of American Psycho, if you've seen it then you know the scene I'm talking about. I saw that movie a few years back. Quite honestly, I hated that movie. And had put it out of my mind. Looking up that scene doesn't surprise me you remember it, though. ugh...that character, though...nothing likable about him...rich, arrogant, homicidal psychopath--no redeeming qualities. The character Dandy in American Horror Story Season 4 reminded me of him, ugh. Not that anyone knows what I'm talking about. But yeah, I refuse to associate that song with that movie!

Strawberry, I hope you always associate Phil Collins songs with this forum. Forever! It's those weird associations that made this board so good marle, that's exactly why I loved this thread and SU in general, I used to think noone else 'got' my sense of humour, or at least never really had a place to let it run free before. Then I found this place! I probably shouldn't say this, but there is a reason why people can't get the Cult of Phil out of their head when they hear one of his songs. Me, Paulinus and Buzzz secretly stashed a mind-piercing, brainwave-altering piece of code into the very fabric of the thread when it was started all that time ago. The Piercy-Phil Thought Projection Project if you will. It's safe to put that out in the public domain now, right? Right? I hope Raptor Jesus isn't disappointed....
