beliefs/goals/ideals/dreams can actually hinder your progress it often pays to try things in a different way then what you have in mind I don't see any of these things as being some sort of sacred part of one's personality we think these things up at some point in our lives - but there is often no reality check on them I agree to only a certain small extent. It really depends on what your dreams/goals whatever are... Of course it depends on what they (goals/beliefs/dreams etc.)are. It doesn't mean that they can't be changed at some point in your future.. but to not have any at all is sad.

I didn't mean it that way I don't see how its possible not have any what I mean is that sometimes we have something in mind thats not real, or we only consider a small aspect, the end result of a long process but don't concentrate on what is actually involved in achieving it
the most obvious example I can think of is a relationships we always think in terms of short flashes of time, some magic romantic moments but don't think about what happens during the other 98% of the time
----
in any case, back on topic
psychedelic drugs are awesome, but only as an enhancer I would definitely not suggest doing them while being entrenched in negativity

I know, but you have to focus on the magic, the prize, the reward - to get you through the shit times. If you thought "oh but all of that struggle and hard work...", you wouldn't really go anywhere or do anything. in any case, back on topic psychedelic drugs are awesome, but only as an enhancer I would definitely not suggest doing them while being entrenched in negativity[/b][/quote] I just felt the need to highlight the partially sensible thing you're saying.

actually you get a lot further that way then by dreaming when you perform the hard work, you get all kinds of pleasant surprises as a byproduct - including some of those things you dream about
maybe some people have the problem of just doing the work without dreams, but approaching it from the shy perspective I would say that is not the issue at hand.
why, you don't think psychedelic drugs are awesome?

We agree that hard work needs to be done, yes? But where do you find the motivation to get through the hard work/the absolute shit times comes from? Surely it's the dreams.. it's the dreams and goals that give people the drive to do the hard work? why, you don't think psychedelic drugs are awesome? Haha.. nice to see you've got a sense of humour. ;D Well it just depends on what type of drugs you mean, doesn't it? Can't say i've had the chance to take anything hardcore... and if I did, well.. i'm a little coward and probably wouldn't have the nerve to do it. Maybe when i'm a middle aged woman who's fucked off with life, i'll give a bit of LSD a whirl.
