I think I might start a diary about this woman at work.
Only saw her once this week.
WEDNESDAY
I got to work at 8 and she had already started. First time I walked by her I said,'morning' - she replied but very half hearted. I felt a bit gutted but soon found out she wasn't talking to anyone. I also noticed she didn't have any make up on and her hair was a mess. She seemed so down and unhappy.
Anyway about a hour later, me and her were in the warehouse when she spoke to me. Asked if I had heard her swear. I didn't but asked her if she was okay. She said she was fed up, so I asked her what was wrong. She said she was tired. I then talked to her, told her she was working too hard, doing too many hours. I was very sincere, I meant it. We then went into the canteen and she told me that she had the next day off and what she does to relax. (puzzles !) I left the canteen and when I saw her next I noticed she had done her hair and had applied make up to her face. She looked better !
For the rest of the day her mood got better. She looked happy, sang to herself, chatted to everybody. Near the end of the day, in the canteen again she said that she felt much better. I said, 'I'm glad because I don't like to see you down' - She then said, 'she just felt unhappy' at the start of the day but she didn't snap at anybody. I said, 'you weren't as bubbly as normal' - We then had a joke and a laugh about overtime and me wanting to nice, easy week.
Last thing, at the end of the day me and her were looking in the warehouse for calenders. We were stood close, bumping into each other, laughing, enjoying the moment. This other woman said, 'have you 2 forgotten I'm here' - my crush smiled and told me to ignore her. I didn't like the comment but it only lasted a moment. We were quickly back to smiling and enjoying ourselves.
So a good day. I am glad it was me who cheered her up. It wasn't anybody else.
