My husband's company has managed to get 2 tickets for a dealer's incentive trip overseas end April - he will be going but I'm still in my 2 minds whether to follow him or not. I know I'm stupid to forgo an all-expense-paid holiday but the problem is, we will be going in a big group - more than 100 pax - which is what scares me. I went on one of these trips few years back & I found it very stressful trying to be sociable. The other wives seemed to click so well easily, chit-chatting & laughing away among themselves while I felt so left out, even though I tried my best to be friendly. Sometimes I just can't think of anything interesting to say at all ! All I could do was nod & listen to all the conversation around me. They must have found me a big bore ! My resolution this year is "Say Yes ! Go for it !" but .....I'm still scared !

Go for it! That sounds awesome. And at least you'll have your husband there too, it's not like you'll be by yourself the whole time.

Go! don't miss out on life because you might be a bit uncomfortable. Don't worry about the "nodding and listening" thing, if thats all you feel up to doing, then do that. You are being harder on yourself then any of the other wives will be. Plus like Scotty said, you'll have your husband around at least some of the time.

It's okay to be a little nervous about this. I say go for it! Maybe this time there will be another wife that you'll hit it off with.
