I usually just try to do something that interests me, or watch a movie or a funny video. Listening to music is another effective way to do it. Here are some links to give us another reason to try and improve our mood. link 1link 2

Again, this won't pull you out of a major depression, but I found this article interesting. I've always been drawn to trees, and I missed all of the deciduous trees I grew up around when I moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a time. I have been thinking about what kind of house I might get in the future, and a back porch with a view of trees is very important to me. Other people have their own things about nature they're drawn to, I guess. Like oceans, or snowy weather. The New Yorker - How Trees Calm Us Down
