School must be in by now, how has that been going for you? I've finished the first page of reading the diaries, and I have not skipped over any of the entries but have read every word. Thanks for posting the diaries matthewtheshyperson, and I will read all of page two later on.

Welcome to Shy United, Ian. Great to have you here.
Sorry to read that you are under so many pressures in your life.
I did click on the link to the video, and got a message that it had "been removed."
Is there any chance that the video will be put back on utube so we can watch it?

I have also noticed this thread continuing at the last of its forum, and with no updates in almost a year, am planning to update some threads below it.
I can't remember if I remember Mr. Collins or not.
Has his career faded, and he is no longer in the spotlight?

I had been recording from Comet TV and decommercializing episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000,which I'm sorry to say that I am so old I did watch first run.
However, I only very rarely actually watched entire episodes beginning to end.
I have thought about putting the "host segments" on a special VHS (and DVD if I ever learn how to burn it and get a machine to do so), and I found out that idea had already put into reality when a friend sent me a VHS of one of the 'bots' favorite host segments.
But, I have sadly found out from watching some utube versions, that the Comet editors have cut out parts of the host segments (and possibly the feature films?) such as Joel reading letters from viewers), and Comet cut out these sequences even after exapanding the running time of the episodes to Two Hours and Fifteen Minutes.
Comet dropped MST3K after running a 12 episode package about 3 times.
So, I'm not watching TV at all now.

Glad to see some recent posts on this thread, although I am sorry that it took this horrible Virus and the resulting Panic over it to get people to post.
Have any members of this thread been infected, or know anyone, friends, family, or strangers who have been infected?
I had my twice yearly check up with my doctor, both he and myself, and his nurse wearing masks, and he said he had only heard of two cases locally.

Scotty, you are not boring me telling about Dr. Who, although I have not watched the show, but I didn't watch Dark Shadows for many years, either, so who knows if I might eventually check out Dr. Who, which I have heard of but never watched.
Maybe one of the Dr. Who feature films would be a good starting place?
I never thought I would be watching Dark Shadows, but sometimes we do become interested in things we previously weren't interested in.
I had occasionally watched parts of Mystery Science Theater when it was in its heyday, but never actually sat down an watched an entire episode all the way through, and I doubt I will do so, but lately, I have been watching certain parts such as the skits between the feature films, which are their own continuing story, in small doses, and FFing thru the feature films, many of which are not of interest to me.
I joined a MST3K message board and have no idea how to "fit in" over there. It's been going into weeks since I joined, and not one single post in reply to the two threads that I posted there.

Right now, I am watching the old 1960s episodes of Dark Shadows about the creation of that show's version of the Frankenstein Monster, named Adam.
Adam just suddenly disappeared from the story line with no explanation.
He was an otherwise good looking man, but had some scars on his face.
An article was published on whatever happened to Adam, and the other characters after the show was cancelled in 1971.
Adam got his facial scars cleared up, and I think he might have moved to some other country than the USA and become a successful businessman. Can't remember if he married or not.
Like the Boris Karloff Frankenstein monster, he is a sympathetic character, but is used by the evil villains of Dark Shadows to do their bidding, because he is easily influenced.
Because the 2 female herionnes of the show he has fallen in love with, sympathize with him, and like him but don't "love" him like he does them, he is demanding that Dr. Julia Hoffman create a woman mate for him, like in Bride of Frankenstein way back in the 1930s.

The guy in the photo is John Cougar of the Zones from his first record album "The Kid Inside," ca 1974, which I think might not have been released, altho he did have a very successful career as a musician. Wow, I thought that was Michael Jackson when I first saw it. I never thot John Cougar looked anything like Mikey Roo (as he was called when he toured Japan), But often times I mistakenly will think onw celebrity is another one.

Still watching some films from Comet TV, and also still putting the Dark Shadows episodes that I have, onto VHS cassettes, as obsolete as those old things are.
Don't know if that project is the best use of my time or not.
