Hello. My name is Shadyhedge, 21 years old, currently studying chemical engineering in Belgium.
I'll just share some of my thoughts and daily experiences in this thread, so you can have an idea
how a typical shy guy like me spends his days.
[Thursday 5th December]
On Thursdays my first lecture starts at 11h in the morning, so I can wake up a bit later than usual. Normally I'd play some games on my Xbox, but I decided to watch some youtube videos instead (if you want to know, I watched a let's play).
At 11 o'clock, lecture started, well... actually it's a practical course for statistics. I had no real problems understanding since we worked mostly on the computer, using a program called JMP. One of my classmates Crimson (that's not his real name of course) sat next to me, and I'm glad we could talk for a bit before class started. I believe we talked about movies, he wanted to see The Hobbit movie on its release date. Anyway, I didn't have too much trouble speaking to him, and I didn't sound too awkward (my French got significantly better I must admit). My usual seat neighbour Riddick (not his real name) was seated on a different table, but he occasionally looked over whenever he didn't understand something, and asked me about it.
After this course I went quickly to the school restaurant to see my pal Makoto. We meet every week to have lunch together. Unfortunately, he couldn't be there today (because of a report he had been working on). So, I had lunch... alone =P Some strange guys sat next to me, and their conversation kind of confused me. I believe one of them spoke about how he "rubs shoulders with a girl"...
I don't know and I didn't care since I am not acquainted with them.
Going back to my flat, I took a little nap before I started revising my chemistry course (organic chemistry that is). Then, there was a practical course at 16h. Nothing particular, but luckily it was the last course for this semester. And we got some sweets (since it's almost Christmas), sweet!!
After that, I went to my flat and spend the rest of the day/evening watching some movies and working on my chemistry report.
