This is all just for fun. If you were to be granted a super power or ability, what would you choose and why? Ideally, once a power has been chosen/taken by a member, i would like to encourage choosing a different kind of power for yourself. Just to make things more interesting, and make each member here unique. It can any kind of power or ability, it doesn't have to be the common stereotypes of powers. You can decide to make it funny or wacky. Or it could be a completely useless power, or a simple one like making fireworks.  |

Oh there are so many that I want! But if I had to choose, I would love to have teleportation. Go anywhere I want with no travel costs!

As Scotty said, it's really hard to choose just one but I guess I would have to go with super speed ( think The Flash ) since it would allow me to make my life so much easier and to travel to exotic locales without having to spend a fortune on airplane tickets.

I've covered this on several posts on my second blog.
On the first, my power was the ability to give people confidence.
My original superhero name was Captain Confidence, but I changed it to Captain Toblerone.
In a later question, I changed it to The Velvet Pretender.
In a later question still, I changed my power to the ability to alter sense. I gave the following examples,
'...if I was at one of these modern cinemas that are far too loud, I could turn down my hearing. Or if someone was shouting at me, I could put my ears on mute. If somebody was coming at me with a knife, I could temporarily shut down their eyes and pray they’re not lucky. Somebody in a restaurant being rude? No problem. I could alter their sense of taste to make them believe they’ve ate arsenic and they’ll leave pretty damn quickly. For the hospital. It would be funnier on the day. If somebody was sniffing flowers, I could mute their sense of smell. I don’t know how that would be useful, but it would be funny. I could even alter their smell to make the flowers, to them, smell of bacon. Mmm, bacon...'
And,
'I could also get that cat down from the tree. I could blind it. Temporarily, of course. It wouldn’t know where it was going and it would fall. I heard they land on their feet.'
My costume, and the reasoning for it, was to be,
‘Hawaiian themed shorts. Black boots. Vest. Shades. Bowler hat. Monocle. What? It’s a disguise. No one would believe I would wear that.’
The name I gave myself was The Crimson Delight.
If I had to come up with one now, then my name would be Señor Sporky and my ability would be to fix doorbells telepathically.
If I had to pick just one name and one ability from all that, I'm not sure, I'll leave it up to you guys to choose your favourite combination.
