I hardly get to know people and people think that I am arrogant and stuck up because I dont talk. Just thought I might find some support here.

hello and welcome to the forum.

i feel the same way as you and i read your other post about shyness and it's how it is with me. it's funny that people think shy people as just being a snob and thinking that they are above them. with me i feel like i am inferior to people so it's odd that people think that i see myself as above them.

I read your other post too and it does convey how shyness can affect you. I don't think I could write something as truthful as that and it make any sense

I definitely can relate to the fact that when I don't talk, or look away from someone when I walk past them, I come across as being a snob or arrogant. I've actually been told I seem that way by someone once, whilst in reality I was really struggling to just find something to say to this person.

It's a tough one, but these boards have definitely been a big help to me, just to know how other people feel who are in the same boat.

In answer to your questions,

I am 15 years old, and I guess you can tell from my screenname that I am a girl.

I go to school and live in London, and I spend my time being shuffled between my two divorced parents.

I guess I could be a troll living under a bridge if that is what you want me to be. It wouldnt be difficult in the looks department...

I have some friends, but not too many, and not really any that I feel completely comfortable with, particulary as they mostly want to meet new people and go to parties, which although I might like to go to if I was more socially able, is at the moment my idea of hell. (why dont imaginary ones count, damn, that cancels like all of them out ;D)

As for my hat size...well I must be pretty stupid cos i didnt realise there was such a thing, is there?

is that ok?? Ask me anything you like, I am bored and the easiest form of communication for me is over the net.
