I was the winner of an auction on eBay. In the auction the seller stated that she would send the price of shipping to the winning bidder after the auction has ended. A week went by and she sent no notice meanwhile, I have sent her several e-mails asking for the price so that I could send payment. I decided to leave a negative feedback thinking that she had backed out on her agreement to sell. An hour later she sends an e-mail saying that I had no right to leave a negative feedback so quickly and she gave me the shipping price. If she was on the computer checking her eBay feedback than how did she not get my e-mails I had sent ? Anyway, I sent the payment and now I have yet to recieve the goods. She told me that she sent them out on March 1st. I went back and checked her eBay feedback and she has a few negatives saying that their items were either not recieved or were 2 months late. Now I get the feeling that I am getting screwed out of $40. Does anybody here use eBay? Have you ever had any problems with it? After I get this situation worked out I will not be buying anything from eBay ever again. I would rather pay full price and have the item and a reciept in case I want to return it. Thanks for letting me rant .

i hope you get what you bought. i have used ebay about 15-20 times, and i've gotten screwed over 2 times. you just have to be careful. read the sellers feedback before you bid. feel free to email them any questions, maybe even ask how much shipping would be for you before the auction is over (especially if it looks like you're the only bidder). some people even have ebay stores, or other online stores. you might feel better about buying from their stores instead of the auctions. hope this helps.

I just bougt a microfrge off of ebay at an extremely good bargain, and all went well. You should always get the seller's phone number, and also, if she shipped the item, you should have asked her for the tracking number so that you can find out if she's being sincere. Nevertheless, ebay does handle problems such as yours, and under their policy, you should be refunded your money.

Sounds like you might've gotten screwed. Personally, the way she did shipping would've made me suspicious. I know a lot of internet companies drastically overcharge on shipping as a way of hiding the real price(the cost to you).
Whenever I use ebay, I look at the feedback. Not just the numbers. I look at what people say on their negative feedback. Things mess up. That's not as bad as not getting what you pay for.
