It's very much a guilty pleasure and something I try to not indulge myself with too often but mixing Nutella with certain kinds of breakfast cereals makes for a delicious treat.

^ Really? I'm always offended when someone sends me deodorant.
I always thought it was some sort of psychosis whereby somebody tells you something they don't like about you through gifts.
"You have a terrible fashion sense, so I got you this". "What? Gok Wan? What the hell!"

Sometimes I think it's because the person is passing on another gift they got onto you, so sometimes you shouldn't read too much into it.

Classical music in the background. Just been listening to the (bbc) radio 3 overnight show that plays continuous tunes by different orchestras/composers etc.

Sometimes hearing the noise of owls at night from nearby trees round here. They don't just live in the countryside. Also red ladybirds that land on your body and then fly off. They do seem to be very rare perhaps even in warm summer weather. I think they can live indoors as well, but don't remember seeing one for years. Small frogs also appear rarely in wet weather, probably most likely in parks, though I once saw one outside a house on the pavement.

I used to live in an apartment complex that had these tiny frogs that would always be on the walkways, they were no bigger than your fingernail. I used to love seeing them. I don't know if they were on the way to growing into bigger frogs or if that's as big as they got, most likely I just never saw the adults. When I was a kid my brother and I would always catch frogs and lizards when we played outside. I loved the way the skin on their bellies felt, so delicate.

The book Charlotte Sometimes by the British author Penelope Farmer, and the other two in that series. They are for children, but a very good read. Another random American book I would recommend is The End of Everything by Megan Abbott. which has somewhat more adult themes.

I randomly love.. this forum! It's so cosy. Yes I kind of see what you mean really! There are some places on the internet that are clearly not very cosy at all. BTW also randomly like the way the black cat tries to get into the large pack of nutritionally specialist cat biscuits when the kitchen cupboard is open, her tabby sister is rather different.
