Hello all, just a quick post. My older brother died last Sunday after a long battle against Huntington's Disease. He had been in hospital for 11 weeks prior to his death. He was buried on Christmas Eve. He was 33. He died with his family by his side.
As you can imagine, our family is absolutely devastated. I am taking a couple of weeks away from my PC to basically get my head showered. However, it will be business as usual for the SHY United website. If anybody sends me an email I will read it eventually.
Shane McKay.

Very sorry to hear this, Shane. That it was expected likely does not make it easier to bear. All the best to you and your family.

I'm very sorry for your loss. My dad died earlier this year and I felt like I was the first person in the history of the world to lose a father. I imagine you feel much the same right now. For what it's worth from a total stranger, I'll be thinking of you and your family.

I'm really sorry - there's not a lot I can say, but I'm very sad for you.

I am very sorry to hear that Shane, I have not yet lost anyone really close to me and I am dreading the inevitable coming of that day.
