About five gigs, 4 or 5 tapes, and a drawerful of magazines. I have that variety of form because the technology available to me at the time changed. The five gigs are almost all off of P2P file sharing.
On average, once a day.

I don't own any, I delete what I do download after its used. I also dont view it that often as it tends to just make me feel worse.

Why do you delete it? It seems easier to just keep it for next time.
Why does watching it make you feel bad? a moral thing--like porn is bad? Or because it's a reminder that you can't actually get laid? That(and money) are the reasons I wouldn't go to a prostitute. I do not consider prostitution immoral. I have doubts as to whether I'd enjoy sex that impersonal, though. Porn, though, just makes me (very slightly) less horny.

When I was complacent, I owned a fair bit.
But now I'm trying to get rid of anything that provides any sort of temporary outlet, because while I'm angry and frustrated I do things to change and improve my situation.
I actually visited a massage parlour a couple of times, but found it very unenjoyable and even unerotic. But I'm glad I did, because it helped me figure out what I wanted - I don't want sex as such, I want intimacy.

Well I can honestly say I dont own any porn and never have. Im not proud of this or anything and im not saying its better not to own any, it just happens to be the truth in my case. I dont think I could ever buy a porn mag myself, it would be unbearable. I would be paranoid that everyone was staring at me and thinking i was some sort of perv.

Peer to Peer programs are great. Free movies. If you don't have high speed net access, the P2P might be too slow. www.bomis.com has all kinds of stuff(not just porn). But, it's nicely sorted, so you get the gross stuff separated from the hardcore separated from the "just naked pics". www.ifilm.com has sex scenes from "real" movies. Some good ones. If that's not good, you might try "adult" stores. Everyone in them is in there for the same reason--they are horny, and want to not be. Well, a few are there to help with their current sex life(like to watch a porno with the spouse). They certainly aren't going to be judging you negatively, though. And, the guy at the counter won't think of the 300th customer that day in any special way. |

i can honestly say i'm not interested in porn. this could be due to the fact that I'm a girl, but I don't know, lotsa girls look at porn too. I have an *intense* desire to ~cuddle~ but no strong desire for sex...

I think that when watching porn, it's the reminding that's not something I'm able to get myself which frustrates me more. I think that I remember hearing or reading somewhere that a female’s sex drive is something like 5 times less than that of a man. I have an intense desire for companionship most of the time and a desire for sex comes every now and then. |

Well err..thanks for the advice about porn Spitzig but the reason i dont have any isnt because im too shy to buy it (even though this would too be the case if i wanted some) but because i avoid porn. Im on the net all the time and its simple to get porn, unfortunately even a 5 year old could find some, but i dont look for any because i dont want it. Im not saying that porn is bad and im a better person for not using it but i just dont want it.
