I got ISTJ. On this other page www.personalitypage.com/ISTJ.html about ISTJ's I found an exact description of my work situation. The ISTJ is extremely dependable on following through with things which he or she has promised. For this reason, they sometimes get more and more work piled on them. Because the ISTJ has such a strong sense of duty, they may have a difficult time saying "no" when they are given more work than they can reasonably handle. For this reason, the ISTJ often works long hours , and may be unwittingly taken advantage of. That's very interesting. This describes me really well in the work situation, well at least at my previous job. However, I'm a ISFJ. When I took the real test (the one you have to pay), I was 100% introvert, but with the free online one (the link upthread), I was only 70%. I guess it depends on the types of questions, your frame of mind at the moment, etc. Other than that, it's very accurate for me. The over working situation might be something that a lot of shy people find themselves in, although I guess it is especially true for those with the letters I, S, and J. Where did you take the one you have to pay for? It might be more accurate then this online test.

ISTJ 56% introverted
Pretty accurate. This seems to be one of the best tests I've done.

This one labelled me INTP, but an earlier one said INTJ. I might've changed a bit since then, though.

Yep, I'm reviving this thread. Deal with it... Apparently--I just realized--I took this nearly 4 years ago and got this: ISTJ (which apparently did not make sense then and makes even less sense now) But, within the past couple of months, I've taken this quiz like 4 or 5 times now and each time I've gotten INFJ. Supposedly it's the rarest type? That in and of itself seems to fit. Several things in the description do seem very relatable to me, though. This, for example, is one thing that makes sense: " Though affable and sympathetic to most, INFJs are selective about their friends. Such a friendship is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words." I do feel rather picky about friends. Makes it all the more difficult. :S Another interesting thing stated was that "many yearn to live spontaneosly." I have noticed that I'll often daydream about doing spontaneous, fun things. But actually being spontaneous is another story. But anyway....I find this personality assessment really interesting. And, I guess I just wonder....where all the shyness/social anxiety/avoidant tendencies fit into the mix. I'm assuming it's something separate from this assessment, but at the same time obviously greatly adds to the complexity of the total personality. And possibly can greatly interfere with one's true potential? I don't know. I need to stop thinking.

Fine, I'll deal with it.
Qualitative analysis of your type formula
You are:
* slightly expressed extravert * moderately expressed sensing personality * moderately expressed feeling personality * moderately expressed judging personality
I forgot to add: Your Type is ESFJ
So I had to do the freaking test again. ;D
Extraverted - 1, Sensing - 29, Feeling - 38, Judging - 40

ISFJ - but they have my "judging" part at 33% and my "feeling" part at 25% - ::)something screwed up somewhere in their calculations for me.

www.personalitypage.com/ISFJ.htmlReading this through, I must say they had me pegged right, lol. Very accurate analysis there. (*I know the thread is old, having one of my late nights again - getting a lot more common for me lately too, because of worries, not because of my age, lol)
