I've never read the book myself. Maybe you should check with your library to see if they have it, so you can check it out. It probably would be better than spending money on it.
I'm interested in finding out what types of herbs can help with shyness/social anxiety. I'm making a herb garden as soon as I move ;D
So if you could tell me what books you're using or what herbs are helpful that would be nice.

I'm currently reading "Overcoming Social Anxiety and Shyness: A Self-Help Guide Using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques" by Gillian Butler.
Its a pretty good book. She specializes in treating people with social anxiety. She gives background info, real-life examples and a workbook to use for drills.

Can you tell us more about this book about using cognitive behavioural techniques. Is it easy to do and most of all does it work?

To be honest, i personally dont find it too great. But i havn't read it all the way through yet...
So far everything i've read is what i already knew, it just tells you to change your way of thinking. Instead of focusing on your inner thoughts and feelings, focus on your surroundings and other people.
