anxious anxious about driving I make so many mistakes when I'm on the road it's terrifying the other drivers hate me and I'm worried I'll hit something/cause an accident. anxious applying for my job I need to write 3 different sections of what I've been doing and show examples of things like time management/communicating/leadership. I am really struggling the job goes live on monday and the cut off point is friday I'm no where near started this is awful. I find it really difficult writing about myself I find it much easier using "we" than "I" agh. I'm scared I'll put something down wrong and end up looking like a lire and they'll kick me out or I'll write something so rubbish they won't want to keep me on. I don't get why we did to go through this process They'll have no reason to think you're lying - as long as you use typical-sounding examples and not something really "out there". For time management, you could write about: -setting daily, short term and long term priorities -adjusting priorities when receiving new tasks -using checklists and to-do lists -dividing large tasks into smaller tasks For communication, -clarifying a request -sending confirmation when a task is complete -providing clear examples when communicating an idea or problem For leadership, -times where you "took the initiative" even if they are only small examples Speaking for myself, I don't think I'm good at time management, communication, or leadership, but those concepts are vague enough that if I spent enough time thinking about it, I could come up with a few examples.

Thank you that helped! It was good to break things done a bit more I actually think I ended up with a strong application I'm done now so just have to wait. Think I have a while before I need to start worrying about any possible interviews.

Thank you that helped! It was good to break things done a bit more I actually think I ended up with a strong application I'm done now so just have to wait. Think I have a while before I need to start worrying about any possible interviews. That's great to hear! I honestly did not expect my post to be of any help, and I thought you would have turned in the application before reading it anyway. It sounds like you did a really good job with it - Congratulations! In some ways it's good to have a large part of the job application process be on paper - resume or otherwise if you are shy, if you can make yourself sound good on paper. That must have been how I got my jobs. The thing I would say about interviews is to be sure to convey interest and enthusiasm about the prospect of working there. Interviewers really appreciate that, from what I hear.

Haunted. :/ you got ghosts? "preoccupied, as with an emotion, memory, or idea; obsessed" --- definition #2 / 3 could work too, I suppose. I just wonder... if there are certain things such as ideas, memories, unresolved issues with seemingly no resolution (or no easy solution)...that we're just doomed to live with. And by "we're"...I'm probably just talking about myself. *sigh* *sigh* *sigh*
