yea i panicked a lot =/ to many people kinda over whelmed me i can relate. i've had panic reactions to huge crowds, like stadiums with thousands of people. i don't always, but it has happened. regardless whether i panic, i sure don't enjoy it.

I'm almost always anxious in social situations where I need to talk..though a lot of times I get over the anxiety as the convo goes on, I am back to the same the next time I have to talk unless they are someone I'm really comfortable with. It's very frustrating. You would think your success in talking with ppl might help. I feel like I have to pull myself each time.
I've never seen a doctor for this, so I don't know...oh, and all the worse with girls.

I have gotten over a lot of things with in my social anxiety, but one thing I can't seem to shake is the fear of being put on the spot, having to talk in a meeting at work, or being seen nervous. I'm being encouraged by my therapist to go to public speaking support group and it scares the hell out of me, but I just might do it, I don't know yet though. I heard they help a lot.

Oh my gosh I suffer from S.A.D!!! I thought it was just me!!! Eeekkk I went through college with this behavior I couldn't cope so I left. I gained so much weight throughout college I'm in the process of shedding it all off now. Public transport was difficult, speeches was embarrassing, I have so much problems with this behavior I truly believe it is going to kill me one day! I have lost so much and gained nothing. I have so many questions!!! Can you be born shy? can it be a genetic disorder? yadda yadda etc etc etc so many ACCIDENTS have happened in my life and I believe this behavior is somewhat the cause of it.
