In Jyotish the main sign that's looked at is your rising sign (I think that's the contstelation that's over the horizen when you're born). Your moon sign is next important, and your sun sign is third, although obviously the whole chart must be carefully considered. There are also many sub-charts, some of which are very important, and I'm wondering if Western astrology has sub-charts too. (I don't think they're actually called sub-charts, but I don't know how else to describe them. Basicly the rising sign is the same as in Western astrology then, no? If you don't know let's do a little expiriment where you could find/calculate my rising sign (PM me for that one) Well I don't think Western has sub charts.. It's basicly only one chart where everything is drawn on and everything can be seen from that chart.

Here is Naptaq, two years later. Let's see what he has done. Gone to America? Yes Got a job? Yes Went to an NBA game? Yes Threw off some anxiety so he can fly higher? Yes Went to a Dr. David R. Hawkins lecture? Yes Meet new people? Yes Gained confidence? Yes Oh well I've still got a lot of work to do, but it's a good start!.. Definitely. I can feel myself getting closer. To be honest, the most unlikely thing helped me. Through Dr. Hawkins' work I became somewhat spiritual and dedicated to Truth. I still fail miserabely, but hey it's all a part of the ride, is it not? It's fun, I like it. Scratch that, I love it. Or at least I do my best to love it It seems like the persona reacts differently, there's much less dependence on other people's opinions, although they still matter a lot. The connection time with people seems to have reduced. I remember it took me a long time to form friendships with other people, and usually, they'd have to be the initiatior. Now that bonding time has reduced from months to.. days.. hours maybe? It's very strange. With more acceptence of my own faults and having a kind of humor about it, the persona seems to be more into the conversation and less into thoughts. The quote "If I could do better I would do better" is a fact. You acknowledge the mistake and then you move on. "I could do better" is not a reality, and, like I wrote before, If one could really do better one would do better. Thoughts are really irrelevant most of the time, they don't mean anything and the less I pay attention to them, the happier I am. There's less lag time between when a thought comes "I should say something to him" and the action. I know before, I used to think of what could go wrong and then I didn't follow up in the conversation, too afraid to say something. Now, more often then not, I just say it, even though, most of the time, it's of little importance. People repeat themselfs over and over. Sometimes I do that too so that people remember what is it that I'm saying. Bad memory isn't so bad when you're chit chatting lol. You talk a lot and say very little, but, and this is a very important but, you bond with people, even though you're telling them the same thing in different words.

Didja just get back from the US? How did you like it? I loved USA. I could live there easily. A funny thing happened. At the airport, in LA, when I was waiting for my flight back to Europe, I was very tired so I took short "naps". Even airport chairs are fine when you're really sleepy. And then when I woke up from my last nap it was like over 4AM and I look at my watch and it was one hour back. I didn't know what it was, but now I know; Daylight Saving time. lol

Interesting places you might wanna see: Death Valley, Arizona Oregan Coast Rockey Mountains, Colorado Coastal Rainforests, Seattle Swamps, Graveyards, Voodoo witches: Loisianna maybe I'll find you pretty pictures. I have visited most of these places or the Canadian equivalent except Death Valley, my grandparents go there every year.

I was suprised though, I probably slept a whole hour at the Los Angeles International Airport, Terminal 5, yet I didn't get nothing stolen. But it was in the middle of the night (3AM or so) and I had a cheap watch.. in my pocket. I borrewed it from my mom.

I made great progress with my fear of heights. It had definitely reduced a lot this past week.
Also, the persona seems to care less about what other people think, and the title of a book called 'What you think of me is none of my business' is actually starting to make sense to me. And in turn, the persona is more relaxed and is acting like it was acting before, but now it's not just in front of the family and people I know well but in front of people I just got to know a few days ago.
I see that I'm repeating myself in the second paragraph. oh well.. only human.

It occured to me that I have no fear of dogs anymore. We have had a dog since last september and only in february this year I decided to take responsibility for the dog's regular walks, since he wasn't walked regulary, despite my fear and general distrust for those creatures.
I'm starting to see why they say that dogs are man's best friend.

I'm starting to see why they say that dogs are man's best friend. i'm glad to hear someone say this particular fear has been overcome, because my son is deathly afraid of dogs. everytime there's one in the vicinity he freaks and grabs onto whoever is around. all my attempts to help him get comfortable with dogs have failed so far. i can usually get him pretty comfortable with one particular dog after he's been around it for awhile, but it doesn't seem to ever generalize to all dogs.
