Yesterday I was walking home from work and this car drove past. I heard someone shout so I looked up and saw two dumbf*cks waving their (tatooed) arms and shouting at me from the car's windows, for no obvious reason...weird and annoying people... That reminds me of this time my mom and I were walking and this carfull of guys in a convertable with the top pulled down went driving past. One of the dudes in the back seat turned around to face us, lifted up his shirt and started rubbing his chest. Hooting like an idiot. Now that was weird.. My mother was with me for crying out loud!

I heard someone shout so I looked up and saw two dumbf*cks waving their (tatooed) arms and shouting at me from the car's windows, for no obvious reason...weird and annoying people... It's amazing how people can change when they get behind the wheel. Some people get this sense of empowerment, and I guess we all can be guilty of this to an extent. Especially, when it comes to pedestrians/cyclists. I ran cross country/track for 4 years in high school, and now I alternate between amateur cycling/running. So, I could share plenty of stories similar to yours. Fortunately, I haven't had anything thrown at me (I had a friend a couple years ago get an orange thrown at him, he had big bruise on his chest). Not much ya can do, just shrug it off eeek...I'll watch out for flying objects in future... I think you're right about the empowerment though...it does seem people in a car lose any inhibitions, especially when in a group. No wonder I don't like cars much. lol That reminds me of this time my mom and I were walking and this carfull of guys in a convertable with the top pulled down went driving past. Okay, so my random thing is that whenever I go out at night, at some point along my journey a street light goes out when I drive past. Sometimes it's one light and sometimes it's a whole row of lights; but this happens to me almost every single time I go out.

Some people have claimed to have what is called "street light interference". I wrote a post about human electromagnetic phenomenon that discusses it on this site myusm.com/usm330359.html

i didn't take advanced biology in high school because i would have had to dissect a fetal pig and a cat.

I remember dissecting a pig heart and a cow's eye. The pig heart me and my partner had was the biggest out of the pile, I swear I was gonna cut my finger off slicing through it! Never had to do a whole animal though, I'm not sure if I could do it either.

i didn't take advanced biology in high school because i would have had to dissect a fetal pig and a cat. I dissected a fetal pig in regular biology in high school. It was fine for me. I'd probably be ok dissecting a cat, too. Speaking of that bio class, it was the first HS class that I didn't get an A in (got a B - horrible, I know) . I couldn't read or do homework from some chapters in our book because I couldn't look at the insect/arachnid pictures. I tried covering the pictures up by taping construction paper over it, but it took up too much time... and just the thought of what was under the paper freaked me out, anyway. I also had to dissect a grasshopper in 7th grade. My partner and I couldn't do it because we were both afraid to. So we had someone else do it all for us... we ended up with a 100%. I guess I "cheated" in that class... Another random thing not related to the bio stuff: When I was walking on the sidewalk area by a Wal-mart few years ago, there was a metal thing sticking out of the building. I ran into it... hit it with my forehead. It hurt A LOT. That's what I get for looking at the ground.

I basically headbutted a bin/trash can that was connected to a lamp post through not looking where I was going. And because I'm stupid. I don't know why I'm sharing this.

Another random ironic thing:
Every night I obsessive compulsively check my alarm clock 5 to7 times during the night to compare it to my other watches and clocks to make sure it has the right time, and that the alarm is set.
A night or two ago I was sick and after not getting any sleep for two days I decided that I was not going to check my clocks that night. After I set the alarm I went to sleep, I did wake up during the night, but I successfully kept myself from checking my clocks. Then I woke up in the morning and it was more bright then usual. I frantically looked at my alarm clock and it said it was 9:43 PM. The one night I decided not to check the clocks, it malfunctioned. I actually wasn't even late to work, but I didn't have time to eat breakfast.
Now I'll never skip checking my alarm clock ever again.

I have an alarm clock story myself. My freshman year I had a couple beers the night before 2 exams (730 am and 10 am), since it was the end of the year and the guys I knew on the floor were leaving the next day. Plus, I knew the exams were gonna be easy A's. Well I forgot to set my alarm clock and missed em both! Nobody to blame but myself I know, I was pissed beyond imagination. My GPA has, and never will, recover from that- oh well Oh yeah, and try to imagine giving that explanation during an interview No amount of BS about learning a lesson can save me

Bunch o' random things:
Once, my mom poured cold water on me some weekend when I was in bed because it was past 2 pm. That sucked. I keep finding more and more strands of grey hair on my head I guess I am getting old Stupid genes... my dad started getting grey hair when he was in college, and my aunt - on my dad's side started coloring her hair when she was 18... I think I found my first strand of grey hair when I was 16 or 17, though... oh well... My cousin (he's 15) keeps IMing me and telling me that I am emo. It's kinda funny. I guess it's because I'm sad pretty often and I write about it in my xanga... I also tend to put up depressing away messages.... I guess I should probably stop that. (btw, no, I don't really care what my cousin says, haha) My cousin also calls me a fatty. Let's see, I weigh less than 105 pounds... hmm.. yeah, I'm fat, lol. (And no, I'm not really skinny or anorexic-like either.. I'm only 5 feet and half an inch tall...) Yesterday my friend and I were going to get some dinner, and we were talking about the cost of our food... I was randomly talking about how I had 10 dollars, and I'd probably get around $5.02 in change (And NO, I didn't know how much everything cost). Guess how much change I got?!?! EXACTLY $5.02!!! It was kinda freaky.

OMG!!! I found receipt in my room (it was my roommate's) for a frickin dress that cost $415!!! And she calls herself a "poor college student"... Not to mention she already has a million dresses and billions of shoes (ok, not that much.. but she has A LOT of dresses and 5 big plastic containers full of shoes in our room). I remember she went to the mall with her mom ONE weekend and came back with 7 pairs of shoes, as well. I think the most I've ever spent on a dress was $70.. the 2nd most I've ever spent was probably $30. And I probably have 5 pairs of shoes total, at the very most. I really want to slap my roommate in the face. If she ever calls herself a poor college student again, maybe I will. ;D Oh, and another thing, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY today... I don't know why. All I did today was wake up, study, eat lunch, and take an exam, lol.
