Hello, I recently came upon something online about meditation and relaxation. Have any of you tried anything? Like Yoga? I was just wondering because I tried this one thing and it kind of worked. I don't want to gynx myself though! It puts me right to sleep!

Hello, I recently came upon something online about meditation and relaxation. Have any of you tried anything? Like Yoga? I was just wondering because I tried this one thing and it kind of worked. I don't want to gynx myself though! It puts me right to sleep! I took a yoga class, and I don't know if I took particularly good one, but it was the most relaxing, calming thing I ever experienced in my life. I left each time feeling like I could fly back to my apartment. Why I ever stopped classes, I don't know. I guess I felt anxious about pairing with other people. It felt like gym class all over again. That was no excuse for stopping though. Meditation works well too, but not as thoroughly as yoga, for me at least.

I should try, but I'm afraid I might look like an idiot while stumbling and falling down.

I don't think I'd be able to take a class b/c I'm not sure that I'd be able to do it among all the others! I think I'd try doing it on my own, but I might do better if I'm with other people b/c I'll force myself to do it.
It is very relaxing to become more aware of your body. After it's all over, it's a fresh start, almost.

I wonder if you can meet women this way? It could be a more comfortable environment rather than randomly walking up to someone at a bus stop and talking.

I do yoga but not in a class. I just bought a book and try to follow it the best I can. I also find golfing relaxing and if I know I'm gonna be around a lot of people I take some valerian herb. It's good for calming you down.
