When this song came on my mp3 player the other day, I realized that it sort of reminded me of myself (parts of it). Which sounds weird. This song is more about a relationship with another person, but I look at it as noticing changes within myself. A relationship with myself, I guess.  Changes or potential changes, for better or worse. :/ Uncomfortable changes, perhaps. Feeling conflicted. :S I'll stop before I confuse you all further. The Beatles - I'm Looking Through You---- I've come to really appreciate this song, particularly within the past couple of years: The Beatles - Dear Prudence--- I still kind of wish I lived through their time period. |

I'm gonna give video embedding a go. I've only been here four years, about time I figured it out. If you're into your post-rock, give this band a go. It's pg.lost with Terrain from their latest album. It's best listened to with your volume on high. If you're not into your proper rock, avoid it. Pop stuff, forget it. This is real music. Sends goosebumps down your spine.

"Fade Into You" - Mazzy StarFor some weird reason...even though I'm looooong out of high school. (And I never even attended one dance in high school. ) One of the images I get when I hear this song is of a girl sitting on the side staring out at couples slow dancing...well, more like one couple. Maybe the song just gives off more of the idea of wanting the unattainable. hmmmmm....this is why I shouldn't bother to analyze shit. Not saying this song is shit...this song is awesome...oh, nevermind.
