Thank you, Rocksmith for introducing me to this lovely tune: "Mean Bitch" - Taddy Porter

I would love to get Rocksmith, have you bought a guitar just to play it?

I would love to get Rocksmith, have you bought a guitar just to play it? I got a sexy red, electric guitar for my birthday a few months ago. My sister had gotten the game for her birthday (though doesn't use it much, at least not yet)...she heard about it from some friends...she said they had gotten really good and highly recommended it. I play a long session usually at least once a week. I notice continued improvement, though am not so great. Hoping to continue to be committed to learning, though. I think it's a pretty awesome game. I remember when Guitar Hero came out and thinking, "This would be so much better if it taught you how to play a real guitar." So I think it's beyond awesome someone actually followed through on that idea. It's a more fun way (rather than just scales, simple tunes, as per usual for beginners) to kind of try and make myself learn, for sure.

I would love to get that game but I would need to get an electric guitar first, I had a lot of fun playing rockband, I felt like drums in rockband might have actually helped play real drums given that the drums are about rhythm & timing. I wouldn't even care if I learned the guitar, those games are fun as hell.

This is yet another lovely acoustic cover made by Eurielle, this time from the Gary Jules version of Mad World. She really is one of the very few artists ( along with Enya ) whose voice manages to soothe me in such a way .

Went and saw this classic band a little over a week ago. *sigh* I love concerts/live music so very much....and seeing a band that had SO many good songs that I've loved for so long...epic. Even though I have most of their greatest hits...I was still amazed, while at a 2 1/2 hour or so concert...when they kept going and going....great song after great song. Even more so, with some songs...I really only just paid attention to some of the songs they played, including this one: Silver Springs - Fleetwood Mac ----- Gotta throw in one I've always known and loved... Gypsy - Fleetwood Mac
And I've determined I am going to have to check out more of these vids.

I really like Carrie Brownstein's singing in this (she's more in the background).

This is absolutely amazing, I am really quite impressed with the talent and synchronicity displayed by these two pianists :

That video wasn't 'available in your country' for me Grayback, but I looked it up on youtube and now I can't stop listening to it. It's awesome even if I don't know what's being said.

I'm really glad you liked it Karen , as for what's being said, the title "Brisé" ( Broken in English ) refers to the fact that the guy's girlfriend keeps lying/betraying/manipulating him and he made the mistake of trusting her blindly ( "aveugle était ma confiance" from the chorus ) but he couldn't help it because the brain follows the heart ( "parce que le cerveau suit le Coeur" also from the chorus ).
