ever heard of gang stalking? this is when a group of people reportedly target someone and try to drive them crazy using techniques developed by government agencies (who have used them to neutralize resistance). apparently it is now a way anyone can entertain themselves by singling someone out at random, or someone they dislike for some reason, and manipulating their emotions and stress levels to produce emotional breakdown (or at least, that's the goal). nice, huh? what do you think? does this sorta thing really go on? or is it just paranoia? ;D

Boy, this is a fresh slant. I'd never have guess this topic would come up here. No, i don't think it's paranoid at all. Gangs have nothing better to do than stalk and harrass individuals at will anyways. Mostly what you hear on the news is about gang violence against each other, but i wouldn't be surprised if they pulled this kind of shit on individuals too. That's the only way they can feel big and tough is to pick on those smaller and meeker few. I've never been on the recieving end of this kind of thing, but i've heard it happen before.

Hmmm. I'm still a bit confused, Pea. You mean ordinary people ganging up on a loner just to build some false confidence or something like that? Seems kind of odd for people to do that. In a way, that's even meaner than a street gang's isolation tactics on persons.

what do you think? does this sorta thing really go on? or is it just paranoia? ;D it inevitably happens but I doubt it is as widespread as the media would like us to think. Occasionally you will read of isolated incidents where a gang of 20 people has done X but I wouldn't say thats an everyday occurrence. Maybe it is in some areas...

I'm not sure where you're from Sweet Pea, but if you're in the UK, did you see on BBC a week or two ago that documentary on Scientology? It looked very much like members from the scientology centre the man was doing the documentary on were following him in cars wherever he went. When the man went to confront the people and ask whether or not they were from the scientology place, they drove off and avoided talking to him. There was other stuff like that that happened too. So yes I believe this is something that goes on.

ever heard of gang stalking? I saw something on this a while ago... The short clip I saw mentioned that it happened in schools over in - it was either Japan or China. The article sounded like it would occur with pretty large groups (ie. with most of the class doing it to a particular student) - and that, sometimes, it lead to a student committing suicide. Crazy stuff. I saw that then the guy doing the interview exploded and now they slating him of even on youtube. If you look into this case a bit you'll find that he was prodded into this situation. Once it occurred, they stopped prodding him, but immediately sent the film to his boss and his bosses boss, etc. Last I heard the BBS was standing up for their reporter - which is good, because if you research things further, you find out that Scientologists have an interesting history of some pretty crazy stunts trying to keep info about them down. Be afraid... be very afraid.

Which is most ideas passed on by reporters. ;D On a more serious note, why is this news? Who cares? There need to be more comedies and animated cartoons on tv, not more freaks pulling their usual crap to get the spotlight put on them. I say we should bring back Bugs Bunny and all the gang. Life was so much better when they were on tv.

But I think he was provoked by the tactics they used.
