I've been thinking a bit more about this - and do you really think that Mr/Mrs Google has gone out there and put all these cameras in place? They don't have any cameras that stream live. At least not that I know of. What you see on Google Streets is old footage. It's taken by a car. It has this camera on the roof that records 360. Then when the car comes in they download the data and make it look a little grainy and add Google logos and that's that. Here's one Google Street View car in action: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZwC5_qaVdscool...now i know what to look for! ;D

I love it. I don't understand what invasion of privacy people have against google I mean I wouldn't really be bothered, in fact I'd be happy that I'm on the internet! Show my friends "Look I'm on google street view!" Unfortunatly I'm not . Ultraruss is right the government have all our details, where we live, where we work, our income, our everything! There's no privacy in this world anymore so why complain about google?

I like google streets, it would be useful for me since I'm not the best at following directions and like to know exactly what I'm looking for before I arrive. I don't see a problem since its not real time and your not seeing anything more then what you could have seen walking down that street yourself. If it advanced to google in your bedroom view then I might object I found it interesting that those people who blocked the google car from coming into their neighbourhood in a recent news story in this country didn't also object to the area being filmed in arguably even greater detail in tv news reports of the incident.
