Good point! You know what i'm going to do? Throw my TV out the window! If it's HD please reconsider and sell it instead ugh...i don't think i want anything to do with it. i visited someone in a fancy half-million dollar condo yesterday, and he has one of those gigantic shiny black plasma tv's that's like 6 feet long by 4 feet high. i tried to watch the news for a bit, but i could see every tiny wrinkle and freckle on that thing! it was weird & distracting. if i had one of those i'd have to sit 20 feet away from it.

Perhaps it's what we need. People need to see that, actually, nobody is perfect. I'm really sick of unrealistic images being shoved in my face... and i'm also really sick of those who actually believing these images are a true representation of people. *Steps off soapbox*

Well after HD there's gonna be 3-D in even higher definition! And that's gonna amp up the so called flaws to the whole nother dimention. Wait, with the help of computers there isn't gonna be no flaws, in movies at least. But we're still a long way away from home 3-D. As a side note, WALL-E was Pixar's last movie made for 2-D. Every year there's more movies that are 3-D first, 2-D second.

HD makes them look worse than they do in real life. i've seen the local news people in real life and they don't look THAT bad. one news anchor who looks perfectly normal irl looks like an ancient crone on HD. actually, i think that this will just make things worse. they'll probably only hire perfectly flawless people to work on tv now.
