I had logged on to facebook again and I couldn't help but peek at his profile and I saw that he had a picture of a baby. His neice or nephew.. Just seeing the features I could see the family resemblance in the little newborn and somehow it softened my heart and made me feel hapy again..gave me a sense of peace. I don't know what it is... I hope he is able to make it work out with his girl friend and I hope he can have a new bundle of joy in the future. I hope he has a happy life. Everyone deserves happiness..makes mistakes... For me right now, it's a great sense of relief to know that all I have to think about is myself. No more texting/calling/emailing someone..that never replied no more worrying no more sleepless nights. I thank god for this feeling..for the new life that came into this world and the sense of hope and joy that a newborn brings to the world. I can share in their happiness from a distance.

it's an extremely difficult cycle to break, all this overthinking, the positive and the negative, constant switching in between. Thinking you're ok, then falling back again. I might be way off the mark posting this here, but I've known this feeling in the past so you're not the only one. It will ease in time, getting to know other people, and not constantly reaching back for something that isn't there anymore. I don't mean to sound patronizing saying that as I'd most likely punch myself in the face if I gave myself that advice when I've felt rubbish (would be a good trick that, but I digress...). Try and keep the positive thoughts going, and eventually they'll outweigh the bad ones in time

thank you, it actually helps to know that others have gone through this and what im going through is normal that means there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
i deleted like a 50 people off fb. some good people too but they remind me of ... and i also blocked some random people and random images that for some reason reminded me of....

wonder if this is healthy..creating blocks in my mind..is this how one should deal with a bad memory..block it out? how would be a more mature way of dealing with thee issues? maybe need a shrink or something...
or is this just temporary ..those memories i block out will eventually not mean anything to me and it won't matter...i just hope this doesn't turn into something pathalogical

I need someone to shower candy with...I eat candy alone all year long.
Blocking memories out is fine, since apparently beating it to death isn't helping.

You know, one part of Asperger's is taking things too literally...oddly, its something I've almost never had a problem with. Maybe all the English classes I've taken...
An image of showering in hot cocoa flashed in my mind.

Would it make more sense if I said I wanted someone to pelt little chocolates with?

Oh my how I dislike Valentine's. Remember back in junior high when we had to send Valentine cards to each other in the English classes, it was always awkward and felt fake all the time ^^.
