This is a blog that I have been reading for a few months. It's about life as an Introvert. I think that members of this board might like it. introvertzone.com/

Hey...looks like an interesting blog, thanks for the link. Just from glancing over it and reading the most recent entry, it looks very well-written too.
What sticks out to me most is that it's "the blog of a happy introvert"
I'm just wondering if you could tell me, since you've been reading it regularly....does this person ever have problems with other people in the social anxiety/shyness sense?
I question whether or not I'll ever be able to accept myself in that way because of the other issues. If you know what I mean. :S

That's a tough question to answer. In my experience most people use introversion/shyness/social anxiety interchangeably.
I consider shyness/social anxiety to be a deep irrational fear of social situations, both introverts and extroverts can be shy or have social anxiety.
Introversion has been shown by brain scans to be physical. Our brains have a tendency to be running in high gear constantly where an extroverts brain nearly shuts down when they are alone.
To try and answer your question. I've never seen her writing about anything that I would consider to be shyness, but she is a classic introvert.
I still have some problems with shyness in certain situations, but learning about introversion has helped me to understand my own personality.
