If you want a decent life....don't EVER get involved with someone who's been to prison. Don't even think about it. I'm pretty sure that's got to be the biggest, brightest red flag out there. UGH! or people with drug and alcohol problems. i read this forum where these dumb women meet guys who are in prison or they wait years on some deadbeat guy to get out of prison and it never turns out well.

Yeah. I remember hearing that even Ted Bundy (the known, imprisoned serial killer) had women who were crazy over him. This, I don't think I'll ever understand. It's completely beyond me. One of the most moronic, sickest things ever.

Not the same thing, but that reminded me... Years ago I once got randomly asked out by a guy who had been to jail for 6 months and had a suspended drivers license. He just rode his bike up to me while I was walking one of my usual routes, introduced himself, and started talking to me. He rode along side me for a couple blocks, we chatted about stuff, he was really honest about everything and then he got around to asking me out. We ended up walking to the park, and his friends were there, and he said hi to them and introduced me to them real quick. Then shortly after, I witnessed one of his friends steal a bike from an unsuspecting kid. I am still not entirely sure if they were joking about that or not... Anyway, we finished our walk, walked home separate ways, and I didn't go out with him or see him again.

Something obvious:
when you feel a sneeze coming on but no sneeze will come out it's disappointing.

Anyway, we finished our walk, walked home separate ways, and I didn't go out with him or see him again. That's really interesting. Did he say what he went to jail for? If I was you, I probably would've been terrifed, and tried my best to get out of the conversation. And been more terrified had I seen a group of his buddies. Maybe I've watched too many crime shows. There must be something about guys on bikes, though...as a somewhat similar thing happened to me while I was out for one of my walks a couple of years back. We only talked for maybe about 2 min, though. I kept trying to avoid eye contact and acted uninterested. I really just felt mostly annoyed. (I was just out for a walk, damn it!) One of the questions was if I had a boyfriend...I hesitated a bit too long, before lying and saying 'yes'....assuming that would make him go away. He asked for my number anyway, but I said no. I figured he was just out prowling the streets looking for an easy lay. Fortunately, he left...and I had already changed my direction (had seen him earlier, and didn't have the greatest feeling) and was near my car. I was walking around my campus, but that wasn't in the greatest of neighborhoods. Criminal activity isn't unheard of around the area. So really....I trusted pretty much no one when I walked around alone, but particularly not anyone wandering about without backpacks or any other sign of being a student. That's pretty much about the time that I stopped walking around that area. I at least avoided it on non-busy times after that anyway. Something obvious: when you feel a sneeze coming on but no sneeze will come out it's disappointing. Indeed! I hate when that happens.
