...Well I did, and it was pretty cool. Loads better than I expected, and they were pretty faithful to the book.

It was magically awesome!!!! There wasn't anything that I had a problem with. All the changes from the books were good changes. I'm so glad they made Deathly Hallows into two parts...I only wish they had started that sooner.
Mischief Managed.

I saw it on Saturday. Thought it was very good. I've heard negative comments from other people and wonder what they were expecting really. I suppose that's what you get with such a popular book-to-film franchise like Potter. Everyone has their own ideas and images of a fantasy world. (Yes I did say fantasy, even though I know its actually real ) I looked forward to Snape's unmasking as I loved that part of the book, and wasn't disappointed. Also Neville's heroic turn, especially with the snake was great. Two thumbs up from me.

Yeah, the Snape memories bit was awesome...made me tear up a bit, lol. Even the epilogue scene was pretty good, considering most people hated that part in the book.

The very start got me, with Dobby :S As for the epilogue....I didn't mind it as much as I did with the book. Was very strange to be honest. I was one that didn't really like the book's ending, and the character of Ginny seemed a bit peripheral like she did in the books.
As always with things Potter, the whole thing needed more Ron! Or Draco with his chin beard of doom!

I saw this movie last weekend, was quiet impressed, love some scenes such as the summoning of the stone troops from Hogwarts and McGonagall's line "I always wanted to do that" Yeah, the Snape memories bit was awesome...made me tear up a bit, lol. Even the epilogue scene was pretty good, considering most people hated that part in the book. Actually that scene was great, but the one thing that was funny was Harry Potter looked to be in his early twenties, the same with Hermione (as the actors both are) but Ron looked very convincing Ginny looked 14 though. Anyway that doesn't take from the scene, it was great however there is a huge potential gap left up after Voldemort has been killed, who are the next great evil force or is it left there? Also did anyone else grow up with the series, I was 10 when I first read the first book and 12 when I saw the first film, now years later it's over. The series also grew up with the fanbase with each film getting a little darker and edgier than the last.

I saw this movie last weekend, was quiet impressed, love some scenes such as the summoning of the stone troops from Hogwarts and McGonagall's line "I always wanted to do that" I loved that bit too. Yeah, they weren't aged enough...unless Wizards age slower than Muggles...It wasn't clear to me in the books if that was the case or not. I would like to know about what Harry does as a career. I assume he became an Auror, but after Voldemort, what crazy person would mess with the Great Potter, lol. I didn't get into Harry Potter till the first movie came out when I was 16. After that I went and read the first 4 books in one go and then eagerly awaited the next movie/book.
