Omg, I'm 23 years old and I think the series is absolutely brilliant and sooo fun. Its like having a bad alter-ego (god forbid)...I don't know I can't be the only one who's crazy about that game.
I haven't brought any recent GTA games, I have PS2 games: San Andres, Miami Vice and Liberty City (and I think one more)...goodness, its like it gets better and better. I might get the recent one.

I have all off the main ps2 games, though the only two I spent anytime on were GTA3 and Vice city. I have trouble getting into San Andreas and I haven't had time for GTA 4. But yeah, they are awesome. Often I'll just load a game to go see how many cars I can wreck before I die, lol.

I used to do a lot of cheats to be invincible...its funny to explode cars and the police doesn't even know it, loool. You haven't played San Andreas yet?! *GASP* You are definitely in for a treat when you get it. I was struggling with VC when I first played, lol, now I can just blow it out the water.

We here like "oooh, crap!!!" because we didn't know it had a little history. Its hilarious when the police catch you. ...I couldn't find the part where the guy was busted by the police...

Love GTA
Still to play the Lost & the Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony releases, but I recently finished the story for GTA IV.
Played through GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas, but never finished the final mission for the first of those games. It was a pain in my backside.
For sheer scale and ambition I think San Andreas edges the others out, but for fun and some downright funky 80s atmosphere I think Vice City would be my favourite GTA game. Having Ray Liotta voice your character just oozes coolness for a start!
GTA IV is spectacular and engrossing in spots, but could be hit and miss. Highly enjoyable though. Especially Brucie's missions and cutscenes
and....PS3 rules! ;D

Looks like this thread is kinda dead... But I love GTA! I think San Andreas is the best i've played, I love the way that you can lock on to target people in that game, I wish they carried that over to IV. I also love looking back on the ps2 games now how horrible the character animation was, with everyone having ridiculously huge one-piece hands.
