Novak Djokovic is the Wimbledon champion! And now he is now the Number one player in the world! He's really going for it. I do wonder if he'll be able to keep it for long though, with Nadal right behind him.

Well, I've been slacking during this tournament when it comes to updating this thread.
Murray is through to the Quarter finals! Woooo! He'll play Isner or Simon. Nadal is through also.
On the womens side I'm cheering for Wozniacki, though it's more likely Serena Williams will win it, We'll see.
It's been a weird US Open, with all the rain delays. Hopefully it wont rain any today and they can get caught up.

Sam Stosur is the Womens U.S Open Champion which is awesome!
Djokovic is the mens, which isn't a huge suprise, although I was hoping Nadal would have got it in the end.
Murray went out in the semi against Nadal...now looking to the next Austrialian Open,lol.

What an awesome match between Novak and Rafa. I wanted Djokovic to win because I like him and Nadal's won the US Open many times before. I was surprised that the fourth set was 6-1, I thought Nadal was going to take it to a fifth set.
I really hope Murray gets there one day, he's got some improvements to make. Nadal, Federer and Djokovic just seem super human sometimes.

It was a well fought match today, Berdych played really well but it's never enough against Rafa. Think I'll record Murray's match to watch as soon as I get up, it's on about 3.30am here.

That was a fun match earlier...the momentum kept switching from Rafa to Novac and back again. I prefer Rafa but in the end Novac did deserve to win when he made that last minute coem back.
Could be a fun year for men's tennis is Murray can up his level to compete with the top 3.

That was an amazing game, I was so impressed with the fight both Nadal and Djokovic put up. I prefer Nadal as well, but I like but players and Djokovic is incredible, and definitely deserved that win.
Just wow. Great finale.
