I've just started Arkham Origins, which I'm enjoying so far. I'd heard that it's the weakest of the Arkham games but I like the story idea.
I've also been playing 'Don't Starve' on steam...can't wait for the multiplayer version to come out in full!
I need to play some more Hearthstone too, before my pitifully ranking goes down further.

Recently I've realised just how many games I've missed out on due to never owning a console. I've done some emulating in the past but a lot of the games don't play well with a mouse and keyboard. So I decided to buy a gamepad I ended up just going for the Xbox controller as I knew it was compatible with a lot of games. I'm actually quite enjoying it I tried it with some newer games like Assassins Creed and Portal and it did take a while but I think I've got the hang of it (still prefer keybaord + mouse though XD) For older games it's working really well. I played some Sonic and I've just started Final Fantasy VII which is a game everyone talks about. I'm only really familiar with FF as I downloaded all the soundtracks years ago because they were so good. I'm finding it to be quite relaxing game play as I get to it back in my chair without having to lean over the desk. Maybe one day I'll stop being so cheap and actually buy myself a console If anyone has any recommendations for older games I should have played at the time I'd be interested ^^

I've always been bad with a gamepad. Still I also bought the xbox controller to play "State of Decay". It was quite fun. It's a zombie survival game. You get a to save people, manage them, have to scavenger for food, materials,... I don't know if you like that kind of game.
What type of games do you like to play?
About the FF soundtracks, I suppose there are a lot of them. Any preferences? I would like to give it a try. ^^

Haven't really played that many survival games but I'll have a look. For emulating so far I've managed some PS2 and Wii games. I've been enjoying some Sonic, Mario and Donkey Kong quite a lot. I'll probably look into some Zelda games soon. Played some Soul Calibur which was fun so I'm looking into more fighting games too. Kingdom Hearts is on my list as well but I can't get it to run For FF soundtracks I think I'm biased towards FFVII listen to the piano version they are lovely (and I will learn to play them one day!)

It seems you're a lot into platform games? I don't much about those. I have good memories about "Zelda : the ocarina of time" though. I must have spent a lot of time playing it. ^^ I'll have a look for those tracks. Thanks. Looking forward to hear from you playing piano.

- Pillars of EternityI've been playing this game ( and only this game ) ever since it came out ( the 26th so basically four days ago ) with big spikes in playtime during the weekend and I've already accumulated almost 20 hours, I may be in need of some help . In all seriousness though this cRPG has managed to capture my attention in a way that hasn't happened since I was a teenager playing the Baldur's Gate 2 demo for the first time. I'm thoroughly engrossed in both the story and the setting while also getting my ass handed to me on occasion because I had forgotten how tactical and difficult the combat in Infinity engine games used to be... Pillars of Eternity is definitely a worthy successor to those games and I am really glad I backed it on Kickstarter. I sincerely hope this will bring about a resurgence of great cRPGs in the near future.

Think I might try this when I have a bit of time. Are you still enjoying it, GB?

Are you still enjoying it, GB? I've already finished my first playthrough and I'm definitely looking forward to making a second one in the near future, creating a different main character ( both in terms of stats, class, race, background but also in how I will roleplay said character ) and seeing where that takes me. There's also an expansion planned to come out later this year so I might just wait for that before I go back into Pillars of Eternity. I'd definitely recommend it to you if you like a strong story in your rpg along with fantastic writing ( there's a lot of text in this game so I hope you enjoy reading )

- Terraria
With the recent release of version 1.3, I've decided to go back to this wonderful game. They've added a lot to it with this update and I've only just scratched the surface.
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
I've already mentioned my love for this game but I keep coming back to it every once in a while because it can be so relaxing to drive around Europe in a truck. I'm hoping the Scandinavia dlc will be on sale in the near future because I'd definitely enjoy having access to an even bigger map.
- Batman : Arkham Origins
I've bought this during the Steam sale based on a recommendation from Scotty and while it's not as good in some areas as the two previous games in this franchise, it's still very enjoyable.

- The Talos Principle
I've had this game sitting on my wishlist for a while now and as such it was a really good surprise to see it discounted ( 66% off ) on Steam as part of the weekend deals. I've only played about three hours of it so far but what I've seen of it gives me a very good vibe, this could quite possibly be the puzzle game I've been waiting for since Portal 2 came out. I also really like the philosophical undertone that this game seems to have, I find myself questioning what I think I know only to find out that I'm not sure of anything ( and in the game ! ).

I've been playing LISA, an RPG side-scroller where you play a drug-addict whose objective is to save a little girl in a Mad Max kind of world. Touching story with funny tone, but dark.

The only game I've really touched at all for ages now is Skyrim :S Finally finished the main quest this week. Amazing open world, so pretty in places, and addictive in going back to get just one more quest done. Though the dungeons get very samey. Can't see myself going back now to grind out the rest of the missions, but you never know...

Sentinels of the Multiverse. Originally a boardgame/card game, it's been made into a video game for the pc. I tried it as some posting game with a few members on another forum, and i liked it. So when one of them posted a link for the free trial version of the video game, i downloaded it. The full game version is also being sold on Steam if some of you guys like it. Well, at first i was hesitant about buying from Steam as i thought i needed to have internet to play the game. But I was told they had this offline mode that makes playing any game there possible even without internet. So i ended up buying the full game. One game from Steam, Newbie Steam member. Oh here's a link if you're interested to try it. The trial version is Free anyway. sentinelsdigital.com/learntoplay.html

I really want to play Dungeons and Dragons. I've thought about joining the online site Roll20 but as a D&D newbie I feel really nervous about joining someone's online campaign.
