I still post here, a bit... although I generally am hovering somewhere in the background, checking for spammers and what not These days I have a volunteer job I do twice a week... which started off hard in some respects, got easier and has now got harder again for entirely different reasons to why it was hard in the first place I also see a careers advisor of sorts (part of the conditions of getting my employment support allowance benefit) who's going to start me on proper job seeking soon... not entirely sure how I feel about that. I'm also having counselling and have been for about the same length of time or just a little less than I have been volunteering for (6 months or so).

I also always had intense trouble dating, which you could easily see if you look back at the large majority of my posts on here. Yet, I overcame that to the point I met a girl and we got married last year. I never thought that would actually happen, I was so intensely shy for so many years around girls. I hope it shows you can overcome your shyness, at least to some degree. A very hearty congratulations to you, Bodhi on your growth and on your marriage:)!

I've posted a little recently but i guess I'll add something. I just started a new job. Pretty boring one but it's nice to be employed full-time again. Also, started seeing someone new. No red flags and no bs. It's been nice. Things seem to be looking up! A big congrats to you Crash:)!

I'm still alive, just not posted much lately. I'm in the process of buying a property and moving out but other than that my life hasn't moved on much. Still very lonely. Good to see some names I recognise are getting on with their lives. Maybe it'll be my turn soon.

What are you moving into? I should be moving into a flat in town, so in theory I'll be able to go out more, catch the train to London and even invite ladies over assuming I can find some willing to speak to me. lol Of course these are all fanciful plans. I'll probably just end up sitting on my own every evening. I really dunno what else to try to turn my life around. At least I might be able to get a property before the prices all begin to rise following the economic meltdown.

Hi! I used to post here a tiny bit about 7 years ago under a different user name. I think only one person would still remember me. Anyway, I feel I've grown a lot in the last 7 years and I am a lot more comfortable with my shyness and introversion than I used to be. The anxieties are a work in progress though. Nice to see some new, as well as familiar, faces around here!
