Before it's too late. ---> New Year's EveI'm not really much into New Year's resolutions anymore, per se. I know well enough there's no "magical day" and a person cannot make a million changes overnight. However, I do believe in new beginnings and that if someone wants to make certain changes badly enough, and puts forth effort, progress can be made. I figure it can't hurt to put some positivity out into the universe. Mostly, I came upon this a couple of years back and, admittedly, mainly just like the idea of my thoughts floating down in NYC on New Year's Eve, along with many, many other people. And a part of me being elsewhere. Anyway...best of luck and good wishes to you all in this upcoming new year...and years to come. I challenge you all to work towards and accomplish at least one thing you really, really want.

I hadn't heard of this. That does sound really neat. I haven't decided though between wishing for something realistic- "find a good roommate", or something more desirable but nearly impossible- "inherit 50 million dollars from mysterious relative."

I don't really have new years resolutions because I tend to never keep them or I don't really care about or I think that you should consistenly aim for those things, not just become particularly motivated because the start of the calendar year, but I did get a job which I did plan for last year after a lot of interviewing.
