Learning to play the piano has always been something I regret not doing when I was a kid because I think I would not only have enjoyed it greatly, I might have been fairly good at it ( my parents always told me I have the fingers of a pianist ). Now though, I'm afraid that it would be much harder to learn something like that not to mention that I don't necessarily have the time that I used to have as a kid ( and what time I do have I have chosen to spend on other things ). Anyway, I read an article about this on my favorite website and I was immediately interested to try it out for myself. Don't be fooled by the name, you don't actually need a tablet or anything along those lines to try this out. In fact I would argue it's even better with a keyboard because it's certainly closer to the feeling of actually playing the piano than a tablet would provide. It's entirely free so no worry there either, just know that the website has a preference for Chrome over other web browsers ( though it might work on some, I haven't tried ).
As for the way it plays, it's actually very simple ( there's a tutorial that explains the basics to you the first time you go to the website ) and only requires you to play with the rhythm rather than learning which button to press or anything else, think of it as a simplified version off most music rhythm games. It's pretty fun in my opinion, some of the tracks require serious endurance to do in the "correct way" though you're certainly welcome to improvise a bit since the game does not score you. I hope at least some of you enjoy this as much as I did.
