<<*Wolf Whistle* ;D Geez why do you lot think you aint attractive, i agree with crashandburn you are damm good looking! I blame the media. The media is filled with physically perfect, sculpted people who have undergo extreme duress to be physically perfect, and this is all they have. Looks. We have been indoctrinated to think that if we look less perfect than they do, then there is something wrong with us. Quite the contrary actually. It's the celebrities who are nutjobs, not us shy people. All of us shy people look fine. The shy girls look cute, and the shy guys look handsome. I don't understand why we all think we look bad. Come dammit!! Lynch the media!! They're the ones to blame!! Lynch Lynch Lynch!! ;D

you're so right russ, and most celebrities get to wear the best makeup and have their own professional stylists and trainers, and a lot of their photos are airbrushed as well. without all that they look worse than us. i hate celebrities and how society thinks they are so above the rest of us, i could care less about if brad and angelina are going out, they both suck. real musicians are the only really good celebrities.

Yeah, most celebrities get plastic surgery anyways and are so fake. They're always striving to be perfect. But i always wonder, do celebrities enforce our societal views on perfection or do we enforce it on them? Hmmm

Yeah, most celebrities get plastic surgery anyways and are so fake. They're always striving to be perfect. But i always wonder, do celebrities enforce our societal views on perfection or do we enforce it on them? Hmmm I'd have to say that we enforce it on them to some extent. At least over the last century or so. Our money goes to pay for all their glamor and glory, so indirectly we are responsible. Two hundred years ago, for example, the industrial revolution enslaved much of the world into wage labor. When asked why he worked his butt off in the steel factory for 12 hours each day, one French worker responded, " I like oat bread. I couldn't afford oat bread before, so i work long hours to buy it." This may be a little exaggerated, but we are as a society at large to blame for the eye candy. We put them in demand, economically. If they're were not demand for fancy celebrity eye candy, then there would not be any eye candy. Cosmetic industry a case in point. Celebrities feed off our their demand. I try never to buy glamorous name brand products as a result. Anything endorsed by a celebrity, i look at with suspicion. Say, if Chuck Norris says a certain type of aspirin is of higher quality, i read the label's ingredients, and find that generic brand aspirin is the same as the Norris brand, and costs less so i buy it. Stupid celebrities!! I pity them, really. They live such unfullfilling, superficial lives.

About the cosmetics that celebritys use. I tend to think most celebrities overdo that anyway. Natural beauty is far more appealing.

Of course the key would be not to allow yourself to be influenced by the media, which btw would be the sensible option Ps Blondie lay of Angelina, jealousy don't suit ya And incase you get the hump i wasn't being serious, stop stressing! i'm not jealous of her at all, she's so fake - fake lips, fake breasts, she's not real and i'm sick of everyone saying how she's the sexiest thing, i would never want to be like her. it's sad that she is what is considered sexy and women are supposed to look like her physically when she's not even real.
