does anybody else here love to sleep? god, i love to sleep. i never get enough. i could happily sleep 9 or 10 hours a day easy. but the world seems to conspire against this. i've figured out over the years that sleep impacts shyness and depression for me. if i don't get enough sleep, i always start to have problems with depression and feel alot more shy/avoidant. i think it's from a lack of energy. less energy to deal with things and people = avoidance.

I'm with you Sweet Pea; I LOVE to sleep! I tend to need 9 hours to feel fully rested, but only get this ammount when I'm on vacation (like right now). By the middle of the photography season, when I'm only getting about 5 or 6 hours a night, all I want to do is hide. I think, too, working with people drains my energy. I have to be cheerful and "outgoing" when working with my subjects. It's exhausting! I'm much more into wanting to socialize when I'm well rested.

Sleep is awesome But I don't get enough of it unfortunately. Rarely manage a good nights sleep i've figured out over the years that sleep impacts shyness and depression for me. if i don't get enough sleep, i always start to have problems with depression and feel alot more shy/avoidant. i think it's from a lack of energy. less energy to deal with things and people = avoidance. I see that as the other way round with me. The worse I'm feeling the less sleep I manage. Maybe its a vicious circle

I really find that what many have said is true - when I have not had enough sleep I feel really unhappy and much more negative about everything - including my interactions with people! If at all possible those who are like this must get at least 8 hours a night!

I like sleeping, even though my routine is a bit messed up at the moment.

i love sleep, but i tend to be more of a night person, so then i don't get enough sleep wehn i have to get up in the morning. I like night though and like mornings, wish i was a cat-nap sort of sleeper, but i'm not.

I don't know how lack of sleep affects me. I can do 10 hours a day, easy though. Less than that I don't feel completely recharged. Dreaming is fun, too.
