A 24 year old guy going out with a 19 year old girl is perfectly normal, right?

If it's legal and both parties are happy, it's all good.
Don't be a wimp. Don't think about reasons to stop. Think about how to get what you want.

5 years is nothing.
Only thing about dating teens is that they change so much by the time they are in their mid 20s.
Why is it the young people are so worried about age differences?

I think it's because of the generation gap and how others will look upon them.
19 and 24 isn't that bad though. I wouldn't even think it to be unusual.

Come on, I was dating a guy nearly 9 years older than me. He finally was starting to mature.

Yeah I guess it would take a lot of character to stand up and go against what others think since other people live you life and of course you'd want to conform to their opinion.

Does it work the other way? On a whim, I recently set up a profile on a dating site, and to my amazement I actually got a response. She looks like a pretty good match- similar interests and ideologies, doesn't live too far away, plus she said she's rather shy as well. Thing is, she's 30 years old, and reading what she wrote, I don't think she realizes I'm only 22 (even though my age was listed). Now I dread writing her back and telling her how old I am. I wouldn't mind at all, but she'd probably feel really weird about it.

I say just email her back and see how it goes. ya never know.

Theres no rule on age difference,,, as long as she is legal,,,lol
Everyone has their limits though,, about a year ago i dated a 23 yr old girl,,,she thought I was 26,, but I was really 33 at the time,, we dated for 3 months and she never really asked me my age,, then one day she said "Are you really 33?",, I said yeah ,she was suprised,, then that was it,,she wouldn't talk to me again after that.
