Did you at least make a huge, big scene in front of everyone?

I think it's damn good you didn't sell out Maximillian. You lost your job but kept your soul!!
Satan pays so much more for souls.....

I'm still confused what happened? Maybe its because I haven't had enough coffee yet...but your saying they wanted you to pay them money because your cash register went down, malfuctioned.. etc? Or was it because the card didn't work properly and your register was short on money at the end of your shift.
Either way though its not really your fault.... you did the right thing.

Lol i really should have ....but i'm shy remember! ;D Yeah..well i think so, everyone else that works ther has paid back any cards ect that they took which made their tills down..one girl even paid £187.00 pounds!! Thanks...i can always sell it when i can't pay my bills at the end of the month! Thank you Tal, i did also think i had done the right thing....at the time lol now i have no job and i need to go and do all the rubbish interviews ect again i'm not so sure lol Lol i really should have ....but i'm shy remember! ;Dlol yep, I know that feeling. At the time, a person wrongs you but either you 1. Don't see the full extent of it, so you under-react 2. Do see the full extent of it, start fuming inside but go and take it out on someone/something else, then wish you instead tore a strip off the person that actually did it. At one of my jobs one of the salesmen always talked down to me, like I was an idiot. Though he never called me on it, he knew I was shy and always did the best he could to make me feel uncomfortable. I rarely saw what he was doing until later, then got really mad that I didn't toss a zinger back at him. I did stand up for myself a few times though, really felt good.

Bit of a rant.....last week i got sacked although i was going to quit anyway it's not the bloody point! I worked for costcutters quite a big company in the uk and they wanted me to pay £56 pounds of a dodgy credit card i took over the till, it was a saturday and i was run off my feet so i said i'm not paying it your policy shucks and i'll quit if you try and give me a warning for it.....needless to say i went into work the next day and i wasn't even offered a warning and was sacked on the spot It's not fair i worked hard for them for minimum bloody wage and of course me and my big mouth decided i wasn't going to be walked all over so grrrr why couldn't i just sell out like everyone else who works there and paid it back!!! So now i'm on the job hunt again .....anyone needing an employee feel free to employ me! When I was a kid, around 11 or 12 years old, I was attacked by a gang of kids from my class. There were around 4 or 5 of them. They circled me and punched and kicked me when I tried to pass them. They pushed me down into the mud and continued kicking me. Eventually, I got sufficiently angry to grab one of them by the leg as he kicked me, pulled him to the ground, pushed his face into a puddle, stepped on his head and walked away. I guess his friends were shocked. I was always a punching bag to them. The next day, teacher wanted to talk to me. It seems the bully could dish it out but couldn't take it. Unfortunatelly for me, I was the one in trouble as they had told teacher that I had attacked him without provocation and it was the word of 5 bullies against 1 victim. I had to accept punishment for defending myself. They temporarily stopped bullying me for a day or 2, but soon it started up again and would continue all throughout my school life. What does this have to do with anything? Probably nothing Maybe if you had someone to back you up you wouldn't have been sacked. Hard for a shy person to find backup though. Life sucks
