Ill start at why we arent speaking. I've been looking for a job for college for 2 years and no one even give me a glance; At last 2 months ago I was able to get not one but two job offers.
At CVS my father tells me not to waste my time due to the money not being enough for a sales Ass. compared to a supermarket bagger/clerk (i tryed many times to work at this one and other store's but he had to take me in their and ask for me (this all I couldve done on my own)and having to ppl there ask cant I speak for myself
)
I told him on the phone Im adult now so I'll make the choice he then tell me "not in his eyes" (this same man on my birthday was bragging to everyone how i was a man now)
This time I didnt shallow my pride and hang up on him
I didnt speak to him for a month but due o him calling all the time my mother somewhat force me to seek him out but IO know my dad pretty well for the time he was calling he just wanted to give me money not to say sorry. I went to his house and was %100 right
never bought it up I didnt and a few month goes by(during by he met a flippno woman not less then 2 months she living there btw my dad his a worker comp lawsuit coming up and this woman shows up but this isnt the first "stepmother to be Ive had 3 in fact)
We then go on into getting to know each other
and dad had to mention me not going out with anyone
and I should call this girl he tried to set me up who even dont like me up. But I did mention the store girl in my other post and told to call her:P
He now has in his idea I should get a flippino bride since he will have one and my uncle been married for years not to one as well and I should pen pal her niece. (another parent sworried more on their childern future goals he want me to settle down at 20 no job,car and still living at home
Back to the main point I mess up the interview time at the first so I thought I losted the offer there closer to my home early evening home. The second job the one I thought was my only offer I accepted (in the old area my dad used to live is the bad side out town late hours at night...etc First day there I messed up the manager had to scold me nothing major. He tell me i shouldve told him I dont neeed the job and he can take this job and shove it.
I know better than to listen to my father these days and kept on working and the fourth day I had to do him a favor and take to downtown via train to his lawyers appointmnet since they dont know the train system I had to get up early after working from12 Midnight at 6:30 in the morning I awoke hear my dad tell my mom about the area (I have a friend who lives in the area who work across town come back in the area plus walk home after his shift which is the same time as mine) I left it alone and went to go meet them we also had to stop by his doctor.
When we left we went to a CVS store to pick up his pills. There he went on and on about how the job not that safe and I should put in application at this store ( this store was in the same mall as the suppermarket of course I put it in already 16 weeks plus and waiting
I had no interest to ask a worker for the manager he took it to do it for me at this point I was annoyed then we left the store and heard him say**** If I cant speak up for myself I dont deserve it
This pissed me off so I took off and left them there . I didnt needed that I had work that day came back told my mother nothing about it and went to work which she wanted to check the store out and had her on the bus ride with me. After work that night I get on the bus and she a woman that look liked...didnt reallly and couldnt see her face.
I got off the bus and went home and my mother wasnt home 10 mins later she gets home and said she went to see an old friend
Without leaving a note then told me my dad is super pissed at me and say's the hell with me
I told my mom the same to him had to make a huge point on the issue just to be able to work. my moms reasonale so I was able to work and the first offer was still being offered I took it and got the better job ;D
A 2 weeks ago the old man needed some cash since the holiday stopped his check from comming I've gotten my check but couldnt cash and thought would I though? Fast foward he telling my mom the money I'm getting was nothing to begin with
Im tired of this no one here respects me. my half sister dont even bother with him too much(How bad it is that the weekend before my BDay he had an heart attack and I didnt see sight nor sound from her and she has a daughter the just recently my dad seen for the first time on her 1st birthday (I dont see her at all she's married kid husband.etc )
I dont want contact at all but I still live with my mother so she pass'es messages to me about himso I had to buy a father day gift just to do it :
( He always have to be right and due that that reason a differing opinion even done respectfully was/is talking back it make a guy not want to say anything...
So I'm asking what should do?
