im 20 and ive got acne all over my face. when i was 16 i used to be attractive but then all the spots came along. for the past four years ive had big fat red spots all over my face. ive tried everything to get rid of them and i cant, they just wont go. i hate being in public because im shy but with the acne it makes it almost impossible. i have to wear a hat and look down at the ground so people dont look at me and feel sick. if youre shy and you dont have an acne problem then you dont know what it is like to feel true pain. shyness and acne is the worst combination, my life is ruined, you dont know how lucky you are not to have this problem.

Try this site: www.acne.orgThis helped me quite a bit. I can't say it cured me 100%, but it has given me far less acne. And no, I don't work for them.

Try messaging 3% hydrogen peroxide in the effected areas... use after bathing and don't wipe off, let it absorb into the skin... I haven't had face acne for years, but know my fair share about oxygen therapy and alternative health. It's definitely worth a try at least.
Like most harmful bacteria, the bacteria that cause acne are anaerobic, meaning oxygen kills them. The body will readily absorb hydrogen peroxide through the skin and it may be enough to manage your problem. You can also try ozonated water, deep breathing, and anything that helps increase oxygen levels within the body.

Hi Bongo,
Have you seen a dermatologist? I used to go when I was a teenager, it helped me a lot. My sister goes now and her doc has prescribed these pills that are working like nothing's worked for her before. The doctor can be expensive though, if you don't have insurance.

First time post ;D I had acne really bad in 7th grade and 8th grade, and bad in Freshman year of high school and moderately bad in Sophomore year. This cauesd be to be very withdrawn and had a hard time with eye contact because they would be looking at my face. But then my mom was watching this informercial about Proactive, and she bought it and it has been a miracle. It starts working the first week you use it. I used a lot of other stuff before and it either made it worse or oily or worse AND oily. You should really look into that. I am not affiliated with them in any way But it helped me so much.

Acne aint the real problem it goes away w/ treatment or time. My problem is acne scars from popping them like conventional wisdom suggests. Is there ANY cure for this?

There is an over the counter medicine called Mederma which supposedly reduces stretch marks and scars including acne scars. I am trying it for stretch marks I got from weightlifting, but haven't seen any results yet. You use it for 4-6 months and I'm still in month 1.

If you can discipline yourself not to scratch (it is hard I know), that works wonders by itself. Also use an anti-bacterial facewash morning and night. Don't scrub too hard, otherwise it has the same effect as scratching.
Hope that helps
