That is what I feel, because I try to find ways to avoid going to university where I feel the most shy / anxiety, which as a result makes me feel more lazy and feel less need to do extra reading and stuff out of classes. My grades aren't that great and I think I will struggle to pass this semester...
How about you people?

Anything Socially im completely un-motivated. But when im in school I must get a head and complete the course early. I will get severely paniced if I fall behind by even a day. My course is only 8 months a year So I usually do it as fast as I Can just to get out of there.

I know that I really need to go on a diet and lose this extra weight, because if I don't it will only get worse, but I just can't do it. (stupid...I know) But, anyway, I don't really have problems in school, but that's also because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my school work.

Drink more water since it contains 100% zero calories and it's the calorie amount that counts. There is roughly 3600 calories of energy into a pound of fat. If you are eat 1 less sandwich a day (about 500 calories), you'd lose weight at a rate of a pound per week. Losing weight takes patients because most women burn off only 2000 to 2,500 calories a day. So even if you ate nothing for a week, you'd only lose about 4-5 pounds per week. Exercising is even more important than dieting. By gaining muscle mass, this leads to burning off calories at an even faster rate even when you are not using them.

It's just so freakin hard to get motivated to do it. Plus, it doesn't help that I'm an emotional eater. Food is like a drug...my addiction. For some reason, it's just comforting. And I'm like almost always down on myself, so it's just really hard. Thanks for the advice anyway, though.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know all of that mumbo jumbo. It’s not really mumbo jumbo – that’s the science behind losing weight. What I do is I make a habit of it. It kind of becomes a quasi-obsession to exercise by going to the gym and controlling what I eat. I check the scale daily and if I have been binging lately, I usually go through a semi-fast. I realize people are different and it is not as easy for some to do then others but that’s the way I keep the weight off. Your welcome.

It's just that I've seen/heard it so many times and it sounds so easy, but then reality snaps back and it's so much harder (at least for me) than it sounds. I guess I just don't have that much patience with myself. But anyway, I got my school pictures today and I'm just like disgusted with myself. I hate pictures so much! I used to be really cute too when I was younger. Blah! But I'm going to start my diet today...hopefully this time I have the motivation to stick with it.

Getting up the motivation to lose weight is tough at first--but once you start getting into a routine you'll be OK. It's just making that committment that's the hard part. You have to just keep at it. I've gained about 10 pounds since last year when I quit smoking. I started working out a whole lot more and lost some of it, but lately I've been getting really lazy and making excuses. And now the damn dryer is shrinking my clothes again! I'm also an emotional eater to some extent, but it was a lot worse when I was your age. You're still a growing girl, so your hormones may be out of whack, that might have something to do with it. Working out is the best thing you can do. Even if you can't eat right all the time and splurge on stuff, you might as well try to get fit. And don't worry if you eat bad, just try again tomorrow. It's not about winning the battles, its about the war.

My social problems are always on my mind and I often lag behind my school which has always affected me academically. Still today, I have a - take home -- test due tomorrow and I still haven't started to work on it and I have work tomorrow. So, I'm left with calling out sick tomorrow from work and I will probably not hand in good work since I will only have a day to work on, and it was given two weeks ago.
