This is one of my favorite books on dealing with self hate. "No Matter What You Were Taught to Believe There is Nothing Wrong With You." I gave it to all the women in my family and I am still lending my copy to friends.

I have this bok Overcoming Social anxiety and shyness by Gillian Butler. So far i like the details of info the author has on shyness. Social phobia is different from social anxiety.

I know there are tons of books out there dealing with shyness, but they don't really get the overrall picture. Have you read "The Power of Social Intelligence" by Tony Buzan? It's great book taking all of the traits of a person who is very socially.
