The Streets? Good? Or just a two hit wonder?

The Streets are absolutely AWESOME!!!! Original Pirate Material is one of the best albums ive ever heard. Its a shame that they didnt get this much attention when their first album was released but at least they are finally being acknowledged. Mike Skinner is a legend, a 21st century Shakespeare!

No. No. No No No. No. I really don't like disagreeing with people without apologising profusely beforehand, but I have to here. Am I the only person who physically cringes when one of The Streets' "songs" comes on the radio? True, I've never listened to their album, so I can't really comment on that, but their singles have just make me want to chew my arm off. And I'll listen to anything really. "I'm not trying to pull you, Even though I would like to, I think you are really fit" What is this crap?

You may be shocked to hear me say this but I see where you are coming from. When I first heard "Fit but you know it" i thought it was complete crap, and still dont like it very much. It makes the Streets sound awful I think. But their first album and all the singles from that album are absolutely brilliant and the lyrics are superb and totally reflect british life, unlike "fit but you know it" which only really reflects how complete idiots talk.

What else is good by them?

Mega-selling Number 1 Single "Dry Your Eyes" would be a good start. And my personal favourite Streets track "Don't Mug Yourself" is brilliant. Also "Weak Become Heroes" and "Has It Come To This" I would highly, highly recommend.
